Cool bar and cafe, fun place to hang out. Singer is a famous cabaret-style bar and cafe in Krakow, Poland. It is located in the heart of the Jewish district, and it is known for its unique interior design, music, and dancing.
The interior of Singer is plush and elegant, with carpets, curtains, tables, and chairs all blending perfectly. The walls are decorated with Singer sewing machines, which give the bar its name. There are also a few "normal" tables, which are used for both drinking and dancing.
The music at Singer is mostly connected with Jewish culture, and it ranges from traditional folk music to modern pop. The bar also hosts live music performances on a regular basis.
Singer is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, and it is especially busy on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are looking for a place to dance the night away, then Singer is the place for you. However, if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, then you might want to avoid the bar on these nights.
Singer is also a great place to sit outside and people-watch. The bar has a large outdoor patio that is perfect for enjoying a cold drink and watching the world go by.
Overall, Singer is a great place to experience the unique atmosphere of Krakow. The bar has something to offer everyone, whether you are looking to dance the night away or simply relax...

After a few disappointing stops during the night around Krakow, we were back in the neighbourhood and saw this bar. I'd read about it on tourist blogs and the sewing machines, and had written it off as being gimmicky and probably not my style.
But we went in anyway, and had a great time. The staff are really chill and cool, and the other guests were as well. Seemed like lots of locals, which I was surprised about considering it seems like the type of place to attract tourists like us.
Drinks were solid, but nothing was particularly unique. Just classics and beer.
It was a really chill place to end the night and I'm glad we gave it a try. And yes, loads of sewing machines and the decor is very vintage. There are a few different rooms which allows for intimate or more energetic depending on your mood!
If you're looking for a speakeasy, Balkan-esque, turn-of-the-(20th)-century vibe without all the pretentiousness of most snooty cocktail bars that use this theme, come here. Super down to earth and just casual. Really happy patrons having a laugh. Feels legit authentic to some lost...
Read moreBeen here for the last three days, very nice atmosphere and staff.. but on my last evening, I was physically assaulted by the bouncer at the door, who I didn't understand, that it wasn't allowed anymore to take drinks outside (which I only understood later through the barkeeper sitting and watching the scene and only later stepping in). He just grabbed my hand violently and poured my drink on the floor without explaining it to me.. the bartender stepped then in, discussing with him in polish but didn't do anything much else. After asking another bar staff member, they just shrugged it off and didn't do much about it. Very sad about it and disappointed about the rude and violent attitude towards women, although there was a guy standing next to me with a drink in his hand. When I come back to Krákow, I'll definitely won't be visiting again. Shame on you for hiring and tolerating violent men at your bar.. train your...
