Touristy jazz bar but not a bad one.

The place is touristy, in old town square. There are 2 floors. Upper floor -the street level- is a bar. You can order some cool cocktails and have fun. The downstairs has small live music room and an additional room with bar. In order to enter live music room you need to buy tickets at the door :(

You see the live music board at the entrance without any info about the ticket. You go downstairs and then you face with a man who tries to sell you a ticket in front off a closed door. You can’t even see inside. This is not cool at all. A total tourist trap.

Other than that it’s a cool bar. Just order a cocktail and cheers on the upper floor....

My favourite place in the old city! I have been here many times since I discovered it in 2014, and had many excellent concert experiences here which I will never forget. It is never crowded, and often excellent students e.g. from the local conservatory playing, which underlines the feeling this is more about making good music than making money.

The place is so wonderfully unpretentious and relaxed, I really miss such places in other cities. You can come here alone without feeling alien and truly focus on the music.

Hurá!! I found Czech Pilsner Urquell. This bar is great. Tomasz, the bartender, is wonderful. The atmosphere inside is modern and cozy. The selection of drinks is very wide. The outside seating is comfortable and such a beautiful cobble stoned street. It's off the main square, so it's a bit quieter. If you are looking for good service and excellent beer, this is the go-to place. Don't hesitate to...
