It's almost difficult to describe what a fantastic time we had at this restaurant. Everything from the service (love you, Michael!), to the atmosphere to the incredible food was perfect. After many nights of fancy business dinners in a row all we wanted was some nice high quality food, and couldn't believe our luck when we happened upon Abu Dhabi Oriental Restaurant by happenstance one evening. The yellow rice took me right back to my childhood, and the perfectly grilled lamb and vegetables seriously gave me back my soul that evening. Something I needed after a long dreary autumn.

Eating here was the best decision we made in Krakow. There's many many good places to eat in town, but this is one of the great ones. It's understated, and so subtle in decor we almost missed it, but thankfully we went before our trip was over. I am not exaggerating when I say that if we'd seen it sooner we'd have been there every day. From the moment you enter the restaurant it feels welcoming and like everything you want from this genre. The complimentary tea that shows up almost before you have sat down is exactly what is needed to get in the right relaxed mood to "chill while they grill". They also just got their license to serve alcohol, and my husband loved the beer he was served with the food.

For everyone who has allergies: I have celiac disease and HIGHLY recommend this place! Almost everything either is or can be made gluten free, and unlike many other places these guys understand what gluten free actually entails. They served me at the same time as my partner without allergies, made zero fuss, and didn't make it feel like a burden to work around dietary requirements. You can feel safe eating here!

I can't stress enough how much I wish we'd seen this place day one of our trip, so I want to tell the world about it so that everyone else can go immediately.

I have visited Krakow a couple of times but the recent visit was for the first time when I felt to try middle eastern food and found this amazing restaurant on my Uber eats app. I was hesitant about the quality of middle eastern food in Poland but trust me I was wrong. This was the best restaurant for the food quality and authentic taste. I couldn’t resist and ordered food from this place over 3 days and it never disappointed me. Meat (chicken and lamb) was cooked to perfection retaining the tenderness and taste. The portion was generous, salad was fresh and herb marination flavour was best ever I had in an overseas country. I even visited the restaurant and it’s not a posh upscale place for dining but atmosphere was great with friendly staff offering great service and delicious food. I will highly recommend this place if you want delicious food and want to avoid disappointment when you order online. Trying different food from their menu over three days I can confidently say that they don’t compromise on food quality and flavours. Absolutely impressive and incredible experience! I honestly didn’t expect to find such a truly authentic Egyptian restaurant right in the heart of Kraków. From the moment you step in, you’re immersed in a beautifully recreated Egyptian atmosphere — the music, the decor, the details — it all feels like a little piece of Cairo transported to Poland.

I ordered the Mixed Grill plate, and it was absolutely delicious. Every type of meat — the kofta, the chicken skewers, the lamb — was grilled to perfection: juicy, flavorful, and full of that signature Egyptian seasoning. The plate came with rice, fresh baladi bread — the perfect combination.

The ambiance is what really sets this place apart. It’s not just about the food — it’s a full cultural experience. Warm lighting, Arabic music, traditional decorations — you can feel the Egyptian soul in every corner.
