We wanted to have a nice dinner with friends in this restaurant which we found on google to have a nice polish experience of food. We arrived around 5 pm and the restaurant was pretty empty, there were just couple of tables occupied plus some of them were already leaving. The staff told us to wait for the seating, that they have to first check the availability of tables. Even though the restaurant was emoty, they seated us downstairs in the restaurant, where the atmosphere wasn’t really feeling like sitting in expensive restaurant. First of all, we had to wait over 10 minutes for the staff to come and take our order. We ordered mulled wines for drinks, boršť soups as a starter and stuffed cabagge, ribs and potato pancakes as a main dish. After another 10 minutes the waitress came with apologize, that they don’t have some of the main dishes anymore, which we accepted and order another food from the menu, which we had to take on our own from table across ours. We were waiting for over 20 minutes for drinks, the waitress did not even looked at us, did not offer us even a glass of water or anything. She came later on saying that we have to wait for the mulled wine and if it is alright, well, what should we do - we had to wait anyway. We recieved soups way before drinks. Finally, mulled wines came, we did not even get spoons or honey with it. The cups were half empty even though one mullet wine cost 20,- ZL. The soup was ok, nice and warm but for the price not worth it. We tried to order something else, but again, waitresses (which did not even smile once) did not look at us at all. Then we decided to go for a smoke outside, since we had a long waiting period for everything what we ordered. Our waitress saw us outside but didn’t say anything and just placed main dishes on out table within saying a word. Main dishes were ok, ribs were well cooked, potato pancakes sith meat were nice, but the meat dumplings were dry and without a taste. After all, we ate out food and left with a bad mood and sad experience of this over ranked restaurant. To sum up, the food was satisfying but waitresses and servise was really bad. We would not recommend coming in this restaurant, it is not...

The place looks modern and a bit cold inside.
The description of the food on the menu sound really ambitious. It already sets high expectations. If you than get the food the best thing about it is the presentation. The food itself is rather average.
In addition: Unfortunately, my goulash was burned. Someone must have let it too long on the stove without stirring. The burned taste was everywhere and the goulash contained a lot of black particles from the burned crust. After telling the waiter he was taking the plate back into the kitchen to talk to the chef with the result that he told me these are only black pepper corns. Which they definitely weren’t. After seeing more of the particles he had seen that it is burned and took back the food.
I understand that things can go wrong in the kitchen. But this burned taste was so strong, that I cannot believe the chef had not noticed. And I do not like to “have to proof” from my side that the made a mistake.
All in all it was not a nice visit and I will not come again and rather visit one of the plenty good restaurants in the...
Read moreThis is a place for an elegant, refined experience of Polish food. The food we had was outstanding - all stylishly presented, really tasty, contemporary interpretations of traditional Polish dishes. Extensive wine list and really knowledgeable servers who can explain Polish wines / grapes / styles to you to make sure you are happy with your choice.
The building is so nicely styled inside, and the toilets are super fancy. You can dress up, but it's that casual chic Krakow vibe so smart trainers and shirt / casual dress and pumps are totally fine in here. There's a fun buzz about the place, especially from the staff who seem genuinely happy to serve you and are happy to engage in a few laughs. There's a Polish staff member who speaks impeccable English - so much so, we couldn't work out if he was from London or not, but he's a great addition to the team.
Yes you might pay a bit more here, but it's totally worth it for a premium experience, away from the large rowdy groups / stags and hens etc. Nice for a special occasion or just for a relaxing, enjoyable meal.
Keep up the great...
