Read moreI ordered a curry with lamb. It came soon, served perfectly, super fresh. With highest quality basmati rice, quite frankly the best cooked basmati I ever had. I asked medium spiced and it came quite spicy, even very spicy. I am a fan of spicey food so I didn't mind that but my companion had trouble with it when I let her try some. I will ask mild next time. But even it was strong I could feel a nice semi-complex seasoning of the whole dish. It certainly felt like a dish from India potentially very authentic (never been to india) because of how unique it was. The seasoning and the cooking felt mature and perfectly prepared. The lamb meat was in a very small quantity, which was a little disappointing but the whole portion was large, i just wish they put the gramature of meat in the menu for it. Price was excellent for such a large main course. We also had a traditional bread, which looked like a pita with a thin layer of stuffing in it. It costed 15zl and was excellent. Everything component was 100% fresh and of quality.
minor negatives:
For me the black tea was too strong, couldn't finish it and couldn't really evaluate it, it didn't feel like specially fancy tea though.
and sadly the dip sauce with yogurt was fresh but used cheap yogurt which I can recognize very well by the specific tingling smell of it, I can't stand it. Plus points for trying and serving a dip sauce at all tho :)
Service was 5 stars, this should be an example to any place in Krakow. I was only there once, but will return soon for sure and update the review. This place has potential to be strictly one of the best...

The meal started with the chorba, a warm and comforting soup brimming with perfectly balanced spices. It was an ideal prelude to the main courses, promising an exceptional dining experience.
Next, the butter chicken exceeded all expectations. Tender chicken pieces were enveloped in a creamy, flavorful sauce rich with spices, making every bite a reminder of India's culinary heritage.
The biryani was a masterpiece, with fragrant rice and juicy meat pieces harmoniously blended with a symphony of spices. Each mouthful revealed a new layer of flavor, showcasing the dish's complexity and depth.
