Great food, delicious margaritas… but we had to wait an hour for food and that really put a dampener on the experience. If you don‘t have kitchen capacity, close off some of your tables so your customers can get their food in at least 30 minutes - 20 minutes is probably industry standard according to other restaurants I’ve been to on a Saturday night. The one thing that annoyed me was that we ordered some basic nachos and guacamole dip for an appetiser and it wasn‘t brought out during the one hour wait. Such an easy thing to do and it was not done. When inconvenienced, customers appreciate something in return as a token of your appreciation like some extra nibbles or a free drink. Freebies aside, surely a waitress could have put our ordered nachos and dip on a plate while we waited for our food?! It‘s these types of aspects of service that will really impress your customers - or actually will just satisfy them as this is what is actually expected. Apart from the delay in food and lack in service, the food was nice and the drinks were lovely. So your chefs are doing great, bar staff excellent… but I think the managers need to limit table capacity to maximise service. And maybe just look into the finer details maybe…I didn‘t take a photo of my food because I was absolutely starving by the time it came. It was a solid 8/10. Not an expert on Mexican food but it...
Read moreBeen here a few times before the change of the menu - rated 5 star with no second thoughts; wide range of different Mexican style dishes, of which most could be served with meat of your choice. Then out of nowhere the menu turned to be 1 Italian dish, few Polish and few Asian, moreover the Mexican part is only with chicken now. Menu is now completely misaligned with the name, the interior or the past of this place - completely pathetic selection of global dishes. We have waited 15mins to get menus, another 15mins to order anything, then drinks came 10min later and then more than hour from coming in we received the food. With new menu it is smaller and definitely less worth recommending - "so so" is the best opinion I can give, very basic taste. The service was super slow. Cocktails: even though the choice was quite good the taste of cocktails was average (before menu change they were delicious). Positives? Having kids menu is a small plus, but the quality of the dish was also disappointing. There is no...
Read moreIf you want to watch mediocrity championships this is the place to go. Dishes compete with each other for the blandest taste, look and feel.
When I visited, tiny tacos with iceberg lettuce achieved a decisive victory, which truly was something, considering the main opponent - soggy enchiladas (also with iceberg lettuce).
I guess, if you are located in the middle of a market square, you can sell tremendously overpriced soggy BigMac ingredients in a tortilla to naive tourists.
lIf you wander of the main square a bit, there are way better mexican restraunts for way less.
Pros:
-good service -location
Cons:
-overpriced -boring, soggy, plain and tiny portions of food -tastes...
