Our visit to this restaurant for an Indian Independence Day celebration was a truly special experience. We were greeted by the comforting aroma of masala (a blend of spices) and tadka (spices tempered in hot oil). It instantly transported me back to my mother’s kitchen in India.

We were welcomed with a refreshing mango smoothie mixed with chia seeds. The drink had just the right level of sweetness, with a mild flavor that was perfect for whetting our appetites.

The main course was a feast of classic Indian dishes. We started with paneer chilli (spiced cottage cheese), chicken chilli (spiced chicken), and a variety of Indian breads like naan (leavened flatbread), poori (deep-fried bread), and tandoori roti (whole wheat bread baked in a clay oven). These were complemented by chane (chickpea curry) and aromatic jeera rice (cumin-flavored rice). One of the best parts was being able to customize the spice level. While some spice is essential to truly enjoy Indian food, the option to adjust it was a welcome touch. Each bite was a burst of flavors that brought back warm memories of my childhood.

We finished our meal with a delicious sweet sewai (vermicelli pudding). The Punjabi couple who own the restaurant were incredibly hospitable and made us feel completely at home.

This place is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where I now associate a sense of belonging.

Powitał nas kojący aromat masali (mieszanki przypraw) i tadki (przypraw smażonych w gorącym oleju). Natychmiast przeniosłam się do kuchni mojej mamy w Indiach.

Powitał nas orzeźwiający koktajl z mango z dodatkiem nasion chia. Napój miał idealną słodycz i łagodny smak, który idealnie zaostrzył nasz apetyt.

Danie główne to uczta klasycznych dań kuchni indyjskiej.

I recently ordered food online and my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I received the food, I noticed something was off. The food tasted terrible and was full of water, making it almost inedible.

When I contacted the restaurant to express my concerns about the food quality, I was met with unprofessional behavior. The person I spoke with was dismissive and rude, and they refused to take responsibility for the poor quality of the food.

It's disappointing to see a restaurant with such poor quality food and unprofessional behavior when it comes to online orders. I would not recommend ordering from this restaurant and suggest finding a different establishment to order from. Overall, my experience with was terrible and left a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively).

The delivery guy...

Had a great experience at Dehli Masala. First of all want to thank Mr. Dilbagh Singh - really friendly and as we share cultural background, he knew exactly what we wanted and happily obliged. We had ordered Prawn Chilli's Curry and Daal Tarka - with Roti (Flat bread)...the taste was just like back home. Though the restaurant is not Halal but the vegetable options were amazing and aplenty. Highly recommended and thanks again.
