Imaginarium Ristorante 🇮🇹 dal 2015 — Restaurant in Poznan

The owners — Justyna (Polish) and Mirko (Italian) — describe Imaginarium as (1) their home and (2) as a place where dreams come true. In other words, much more than a restaurant. These thoughts of theirs are fully justified. To begin to understand, sit in the main dining room as close to the kitchen as possible. At least ⅓,of the customers come and head straight for the kitchen to say hello before taking off their coats or finding a table.

There is a play area for children, with an enormous blackboard for drawing with chalk. There are is an extraordinary upright piano (a Gronstein-Steinweg), always properly tuned. If you can play, you are welcome to play it. (Justyna has a doctorate in piano studies — if you can play, ask her to.) ask about the restaurant’s lending library. Seriously.

About the food: I have eaten pizza from San Francisco, California, to Leh, Ladakh. This this the numero uno. Pastas are great. Steaks are good. Fish is there for pescatarians.
