Poznan really lacks in proper Chinese restaurants so when I saw this place pop up I was excited! Overall it was nice and I would come back. The highlights were the decor, the duck and pancakes, and the friendly service. There are a few things that I think could be tweaked: the rice that came with my meal was slightly overcooked (I know sticky rice and this was just a tad mushy), there was also chilli powder on it which I didn‘t love - I‘m sensitive to spice so that was not ideal. I think the rice would look just as good without it - it comes in the shape of a teddy bear, no chilli powder needed. I also think they could do with adding a bowl of plain prawn crackers on the menu because although the selection of chipsy was impressive, we didn‘t like all of them and would have just preferred a bowl of prawn crackers with sweet and sour sauce. My mum also wanted some noodles on the side of her meal but there wasn‘t such an option on the menu, so I think if they added some sides like a basic vegetable chow mein, an egg fried rice… that would be nice. The last thing was the cocktails - although my drink looked impressive, I didn‘t really rate the flavour. I failed to see that my apple cocktail also contained green pea puree. I tried it anyway but it was a bit strange. Looks-wise it looked great. The barman knows what he’s doing. The other cocktails didn‘t appeal to me too much because I prefer something sweet, maybe something with lychee would be nice. All this is to say that, despite the points I mention, we still enjoyed the food and the service. And even if a green pea cocktail isn‘t to my taste, it‘s very clear that the owner and chef have clearly put a lot of thought into their drinks and food, which is good to see. This place is definitely a chinese restaurant with a personality :). So I would recommend people try it. It‘s also a nice restaurant for a special occasion because of the decor. I imagine with live music, it would be a total vibe. Get the sweet and sour chicken, the spring rolls and the duck!

It is a great place with interior that for sure has a wow factor! We went there for a dinner and impressed by pictures of the food we took quite a lot. We had starter set of crackers and pickles, beef and salmon tartare, spring rolls, soup, wontons and gyozas. All delicious with well balanced flavors, interesting presentation, only chicken chip in starter set was not crunchy but chewy. Then we had for mains udon with beef, fried pak choy, peking duck and sichuan pork belly. In my opinion the best was udon with beef and peking duck. Beef was so tender and had a lot of flavor, veggies were perfectly cooked and for me overall it was a good dish. Duck was tender and juicy, it was just perfect. However pork belly was just swimming in super salty sauce, lacking of sichuan pepper also pak choy was way too salty. My opinion about this place is that I would recommend to everyone. They are still pretty new and I am sure that all those imperfections will be gone soon. They are showing a lot of effort to make every guest happy. In my opinion it will be hottest place to visit in Poznań!

(English Version) We had the pleasure of visiting Lola Chinese Extravaganza on a Sunday afternoon/evening, when most shops and venues were closed (as is typical on Sundays). The restaurant was quiet, but despite that, the atmosphere was modern, cozy, full of ambiance, and very inviting — it made us want to stay longer! We were served by a very kind waitress who spoke English very well (even though her first language is Polish), which was a huge help for me as someone learning Polish. The dishes were delicious, big applause to the chefs for both the flavor and the beautiful presentation! Special recognition also for the delicious Cranberry Jazz cocktail — it was excellent. By mistake, we paid by card without adding a tip, but I didn’t want to leave without expressing my immense gratitude. So I left a generous cash tip as a small thank-you for the friendly service and attention to every detail. Honestly, I can’t imagine this place having anything less than 4 or 5 stars. Our experience today was fantastic, and I’ll happily recommend this place to friends. We’ll definitely be back — more than once! 😉 (Yes, I used a translator — my Polish is still shaky!)

Hands down, some of the most of delicious food I’ve had recently! The restaurant uses the freshest ingredients and makes sure each dish is done the right way. From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant made a piece of art. Ideal food porn!

The interior of this restaurant is simply fantastic! The atmosphere is cosy, soft lighting was nice until it switched to red lighting, and it has been a bit distracting and annoying. Taking nice pictures of this amazing food and elegant interior was rather troublesome, and this elegant decor creates the perfect setting for any special occasion and taken pictures.

I would also point small caveat that when it's time I go to the little girls' room, the red lighting there doesn't help with make-up corrections or just overall checks up in the mirror. I would also be considerate to instal a small hanger in the ladies' restroom for a purse, perhaps.

Despite the above mentioned, this restaurant strikes the perfect balance between chic and cosy. The ambiance is trendy yet comfortable, making it ideal for intimate dinners and lively gatherings.

The staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. However, they revealed small shortcomings in the management of the restaurant. Awaiting for the courses has taken an hour or so. Waitress could also be more attentive to the changes at the table as the number of people has changed, and she had been advised of this fact beforehand.

Yet the reason of this small inconvenience has later been revealed by the waitress herself and it turned out that they were short with staff and they need extra pair of hands so if anyone is looking for a job in this new, extraordinary and amazing place please contact Lola Chinese Extravaganza Restaurant. Help needed!

The staff was incredibly accommodating when our discontent had been expressed, and they went the extra mile to ensure we were satisfied. They were courteous and polite. They made us feel pampered and one of a kind guests.

Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, impeccable service, and charming interior made for a memorable experience.

I truly recommend this restaurant and will be back again as the 15th floor of Lola Chinese Extravaganza has not been explored yet by me. And I'm looking forward to visiting this gem soon after having delicious...

We got there at around 6:45pm and upon hearing we don’t have reservation, the waiter sighed. After looking through the tables he told us he has one available but only for one hour, as at 7:45pm there was a reservation for it. I asked if we’d even be able to receive our food in time, to which he replied “there will be time for food but not for chatting”. That was the first red flag. We decided to stay. He walked us to our table and on the way said to me “coming here on a Saturday evening without a reservation… well, bold”. Fair enough, but as a waiter you should keep thoughts like that to yourself. We placed our orders quite quickly. My friends ordered chai latte - the waiter frowned and said “we don’t have chai latte” with a puzzled expression. We had to show it to him on the menu and he laughed it off… Not knowing the menu is one thing, but his reaction and approach to this situation made us uncomfortable. We received the first three dishes - udon, beans and eggplant - quickly, but the “main” dish - chicken with a side of rice i wanted to share with my friend - arrived only like 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave. the rice arrived first and we asked the waiter if the chicken is coming as well. he said the food here is made “in asian style” and it’s brought right after it’s prepared… oh and also that “everything is for sharing with each other!” (mind you we were sharing all dishes all the time so?) It wasn’t the end of weird comments from the waiter. when we were getting the bill, i asked if we can pay seperately - one person paying wasn’t a problem as we can always split and pay each other back, but i just asked to know if it’s possible. the waiter said we can’t split and added something along the lines of “thankfully we live in such modern times and BLIK exists, I recommend using it as it’s very convenient”. He didn’t say it with ill intentions (or at least i choose to believe so) but this on top of other weird comments made our way throughout the evening was annoying. We felt like we were being made fun of… We’re not stupid, we’re 20-year olds, of course we know what blik is… The food was fantastic and we’ll probably visit again some time as I’d like to explore the menu more, but the service made this experience...
