My family and I are from Zielona Góra. We were visiting the city and it's beautiful surroundings for the first time. We decided to go and dine in at this particular location because we were within walking distance from it and we did not wanted to walk around and look for a place to eat since my family and I were hungry from sightseeing all day. Upon completing placing out order on the app it took awhile for us to receive our food. Once the staff brought over our food we did not received a greeting from any of them nor they apologized they just left the trays and walked away like nothing. We checked to make sure that our order was correct but we noticed that our drinks were not properly full and we also noticed that we were given only 3 napkins in total for a family of 5 and that was unacceptable. I got up to go to the counter and asked the cashier for more napkins and he denied them to me and after showing my receipt and said to him you expect me to get only 3 napkins for a family of 5 after spending more than 130zl and his replied was that it was McDonald's policy for how many napkins are given out. After asking a few more times for napkins and finally were given to me I also asked for a courtesy cup of iced water and was also denied and his response also was that if I wanted a cup of tap water I had to pay an addition 7zl which I was in shock. As an American and have worked at McDonald's in the United States I was in disbelief of how this McDonald's franchise treated me and my family during our visit. After completing our meal I decided to talk to the manager and tell her about my experience. While I was talking to the manager who was extremely rude she said that Polish McDonald's are very different than the one's In the United States which I find hard to believe. After my unpleasant conversation with the so-called manager I asked for her name and the number to their corporation because I was going to follow up and make a complaint she denied to give me her name and a number where I could call to talk to someone at corporate. I hope that corporate will see this review and take action because this experience was very unpleasant and unacceptable. As a paying customer I expect high standards but specially good customer service specially when employees and managers are working for one of the biggest fast food chains on the entire planet. I have gone to dine at different Macdonald's locations in Poland and my family and I have never been treated like this until we visited this location and best believe next time we travel to Poznań my family and I will not visit nor recommend this location. I hope that corporate will take further action and demand it's employees to be more respectful and courteous to the...
Read moreI dined here with my family on the 14th of October during a quiet Monday evening 3 kids, 3 adults... we spent almost 180 zloty and sat upstairs.
McDonald's is a worldwide chain with a standard so you know what sort of food you are getting when you place your order.
The issue wasn't the food. The gentleman who was cleaning upstairs creepy, weird and super rude.
He kept staring at me and my table. The dirty look he gave us continued as he followed us downstairs once we finished our meal.
He made me so uneasy, I wanted to ask him if everything was okay or even get the management's attention but my partner asked me to leave it.
Nevertheless, whether he didn't like us for speaking a different language or he had another issue with us, the management of that particular venue should investigate...
Read moreIt's about when I went for the first time. Seemed a nice place lot's of customers. Had to wait around 30 mins for my order. When I went to receive my order I was asked for proof of purchase which I showed to the staff. Upon asking why he only inquired about the receipt from me and not from the rest of the people receiving orders. He replied "Well we don't ask for proof of payment or order number to save time. But if it's a foreigner ( i.e. of darker skin colour) we are a little bit more careful:)". Well that was the perfect definition of racism. Welcome to Poland where racist behaviours by the employees are allowex at multinational corporations even like...
