Restauracja Pueblo — Restaurant in Toruń

I'm Mexican and I love food, but if you have never tried Mexican food I don't recommend this place , I know Mexican taste very good, so comparing with my experience in visiting other restaurants this place is not good , as a Mexican I would like that you love our food and our culture. I will explain good and bad points about this restaurant.

Good points

Very good decoration it has a very nice decoration and environment that makes you feel a good experience. even the visual design of the letters in the menu is very good.

the girls that take your order wear good decorations too.

good service; very good from the waitresses.

Bad Points

High prices for what they offer 3 tacos de carnitas for more than 30 PLN (150 pesos )really? when in Mexico cost less than 10-15 PLN and other dishes that they don't cost that.

(I know that we are not in Mexico but that is taking advantage of people with more than 50%)

The flavour is not good neither ,it must improve a lot, one of the main goals for all the restaurants should be the flavour , it doesn't matter if you have good decoration and good service if the flavour is not good then the restaurant is not good.

and the sad thing is that this place has a lot of years (they have been lucky until someone else opens a better restaurant with better flavour and better prices) , I ordered a dish that combines other meals and the only things that they were good were the corn (el elote) and las quesadillas , the other things were not good: burned wings, la empanada (similar to pierogi but with bread) was average taste, los jalapeños (average taste) too expensive for bad experience.

Place is well nice. We got there by a mistake as we were on our way to a different place. But that actually ended up being something more of a very happy accident as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our host was Krystian, young, well mannered guy that definitely was the right man on the right position. We got ourselves 3 appetisers and 3 mains. I can't from memory recall exactly what mains and apps we got for one simple reason. One appetiser there just blew us away. I'm a typical man, I like some nice hot chicken wings. Tried a lot of different ones from a lot of different places but these here were outstanding, in their own league. Wings here were no joke at least a world apart from the second best that we had. Meat was juicy, well seasoned and coming off the bone without any use of force. Simply said, best. Other foods that we've ordered were also amazing so you won't do wrong choosing anything but definitely try the wings. On a Sunday afternoon, round 14:30 we came to a very busy restaurant. Lovely ladies servicing the guests told us the waiting time was an hour and a half but as we wanted to stroll down Philadelphia Boulevard we didn't mind. When we came at 16:00 the table was waiting but it turned out that we need to wait another 45 mins for the food... Hungrily we decided to have some drinks and wait. The restaurant is on the small side, the perk was you could observe chefs cooking, the downside was that 45 mins was spent salivating over delicious smells coming from the BBQ. 45 mins turned into 1:05 waiting. The food was delish but rather on mellow side. Guac was a smooth butter not a usual chunky sauce. Fajita was reasonable but not spicy enough, more like salt and pepper and nothing else.
