We ordered cocktails. Our friend was brought a mimosa that tastes like plain orange juice, there was no gas that happens in sparkling wine. We approached the bartender and explained that alcohol was not felt. We asked him to say what he poured. The bartender did not know, he left the bar for a couple of seconds, returned and said the name of the drink. He reacted without any interest to our comment that alcohol was not felt, he could not explain and show normally. He didn't feel like he cares about customers. Unfortunately, problem wasn't solved and we had to drink a tasteless mimosa and move to another bar. The rest of the cocktails were not bad, but the communication of the bartender and a mimosa (which was almost 6 euros) left us...
Read moreOn a recent hunt for a decent back street bar, I came across this gem, and although I only had time for one pint, it didn't disappoint. The size is deceptive but go through to the back and it opens up to a sizeable beer garden, partially covered. The decor is somewhat militaria, but not full camo. A good selection of drinks (although, as mentioned, I only had the one beer) competitively priced. And service, on this quiet afternoon, at least, cannot be faulted. I'll be back if I ever find myself near this Warsaw back...
Read moreI am so glad I walked into this bar! The night I went there, I was especially impressed by the excellent service I received from a staff member there. I didn't ask her name but she was a young Ukrainian lady with blonde hair. She had very good manners and made pleasant conversation with me. I judge a bar more by its staff than anything else. That young lady is a credit to this establishment and I hope the bar owner rewards her for making that bar a great...
