I think I got on wrong day (Saturday) and either cook was in a bad mood or has changed recently. Food was very bland and not particularly tasty. Lithuanian Chiller (Chlodnik Litewski - 13.50PLN) was very sour - bordering spoiled - it was a hot day and soup was not cold. Quarter of an egg without yolk. Cabbage roll (Golabki - 25PLN)was also tasteless - could not figure out what kind of meat it was made from… it was swimming in tomato juice (cannot call it sauce, too watery) and two blobs of mashed potatoes, which were overcooked and watery instead of creamy. we went to this place twice in the three days we spent in warsaw — the location is prime (near the central station), and the prices are affordable. the service staff are extremely accommodating to english speaking tourists since we had to order at the counter, we’re so thankful 🙏🙏🙏

the first time for lunch, we got Placek Po Węgiersku (5⭐️, we strongly strongly recommend this) and Schabowy Z Ziemniakami I Surowka (4⭐️).

the second time we went a bit earlier (before 12pm) and they weren’t serving most of the stuff we wanted to get, but we managed to still get the ukrainskie pierogi (3⭐️) and this dish that’s akin to steamed dumplings with boiled spinach with cheese and sour cream (5⭐️, we also strongly recommend this).
