I was here a few days ago with family and friends. They charge 10% extra on the total bill if the number of people in your group are more than five. This is the first time I encounter such an extra payment in a restaurant. I don't understand the logic behind this. When we asked about the guy who came to take our orders, if they charge this cap if we pay the bill separately. The serving guy asked us to sit separately on two different tables which are separated by another 4 tables. We ordered their special mixed biriyani which cost 72 pln, jeera pulav, normal naan and kadai chicken. Kadai chicken and naan were good. Mixed biriyani was not at all tasting like biriyani. I don't recommend ordering this item. Also the portion is very big and sufficient for two people. Jeera pulav was with some smoked taste. I don't recommend this too. The serving staff was not at all smiling or showing any signs of hospitality. They seem detached from the environment and with zero energy. The separation of our group into two distant tables, attitude of the staff and tasteless dishes that I mentioned above made the overall experience the worst. I don't recommend anyone, especially a group of more than five people to go here. We will never go to this restaurant if we go to Warsaw.
Editing my review again for the reply from the restaurant owner. If you got irritated by hearing negative reviews about your food, you must at least try to improve it rather than adding extra pinch of salt. Please don't try their indiagate special mixed biriyani, its a waste of money. I hope my review about the 10 percent service charge for larger group will help those who look at the reviews before even going the restaurant and looking at the menu. Again this response from the owner clearly states...
Read moreFood was very good , its fresh and perfect indian balanced flavour, servers were polite and positive when they take order and serve dishes on table . Only issue due to which i deducted one star service .. I visited 2-3 time and all the time i had to call server to get my order which is bit is bit embarrassing and i felt i like neglected customer (this all happen when restro was not so busy and enough server were free and standing idle at cash counter ) second issue once i felt with billing and i had to pint out and again it was embarrassing because i had to explain what i actually ordered and ate and i had to point out to the table where i sit and my empty plate… in last case it was not about 4-5 zloty it was about trust and attention … take above 4 star as an feedback in positive way so that you can improve these minor and small issues.
EDIT (17th September 2022) bill was around 173-179PLN : visited again 3rd time after original review nothing has been changed in CROWD management and attention to customer by your reps its gone worse and please educate your reps what is meaning of STARTER it meant to come with drinks or within short interval it came after 15-20 minute that too after reminding them we were drinking in speed of tortoise so that our start can come and enjoy it with our drink and yes it was not house-full or that crowdy . Same thing we had to call them by waving our hands (i regret doing such thing as its very impolite as per me but i was forced because they were simply ignoring when we were calling them )multiple time for main course . Decreasing 1 star just because you guys didn’t worked on crowd management till now and need to learn how to manage crowd in managed way and...
Read moreCraving some bold flavors on our last day during a recent trip to Poland, we were blown away by the menu here and decided to pay them a visit. So glad we did! We had such an enjoyable meal and wonderful service. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a number of tables. The service was warm and hospitable, even when the restaurant suddenly got very busy with the dinner rush. We had a very sweet waitress who patiently kept up with our lengthy order and was so kind with our daughter. We ordered two dosas, chili chicken, chicken manchurian, paneer tikka salad, andhra chicken, and rice. For two adults and a kid, it was too much food but we managed to finish everything, that's how good it was!!! I would say the chili chicken and chicken manchurian (which were very generous portions for an appetizer and spiced to perfection) and the paneer tikka salad (which was fresh and very unique with lots of tasty paneer) were the highlights of our meal. I could eat them every day! We also tried one of their cocktails and an Indian bottled beer which went perfectly with the meal. The clientele was mostly Indian during our visit (always a good sign!) but lots of non-Indians as well to create a nice atmosphere. I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a try when you are in Warsaw! We look forward to visiting when we are in town again and have already recommended...
