BAR RASCAL — Restaurant in Warsaw

Our visit to Rascal Bar on August 16th at around 12:30 pm was nothing short of appalling – without question one of the worst hospitality experiences we’ve ever had.

The waitress – a blonde woman with a bob haircut, somewhat on the heavier side – treated us with shocking arrogance and hostility from the very first second. We asked for a table outside (it was full, which was absolutely fine with us) and even said we were happy to wait and have a coffee inside in the meantime. Instead of showing a minimum of courtesy, she snapped at us that we could wait, but only outside on the pavement in front of the door.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, her arrogance only grew. In a tone that can only be described as hostile, she even declared: “I’m the house. I manage the house.” When we reasonably asked for her name after such behavior, she snapped again and refused. And frankly, it’s no wonder – if her manager ever found out how she treats paying guests, she’d likely be out of a job.

This experience was so humiliating and unprofessional that we had no choice but to leave. We would never spend a single cent here again.

Employees like her cause far more damage to the business than any bad review ever could. Rascal Bar should seriously reconsider who represents...

For me, this is one of the best places for wine in Warsaw. The combination of wine, location, atmosphere, service, and quality is truly unique and refined. The wines are of excellent quality, the staff are friendly, and the overall atmosphere is outstanding.

The best spots are definitely in the inner garden, which has a warm, welcoming, and rejuvenating vibe. The system can be a bit confusing—you either need a reservation for the indoor area, or you can try to grab a seat in the outdoor area, but switching between the two isn’t allowed. It can be a bit tricky to get a spot in the magical inner garden, but if you wait a little, it’s absolutely worth it.

The appetizers are beautifully presented and pair perfectly with the drinks. The staff are always warm, welcoming, attentive, and happy to help with wine recommendations. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place in the city centre which is a personal brand in itself 😍 They do 250+ wines and the staff served them by the glass depending on the mood of the customer hehe - before choosing also the lady gave us a test of 3 wines, each of which was extremely special 🥂✨

We went typically for the evening and in 3 minutes we got a table in the garden - if only you have more time, I highly recommend to wait for the place outside because the atmosphere was magical!!! 💚🪴

It's been a long time since I was so positively surprised by everything! From the decor, the service, the wine, the atmosphere to the food everything was great! Thank you and I will be back!!! (Especially for my beloved scones at breakfast time 🥹).
