If you're looking for an authentic Lebanese dining experience with outstanding flavors and impeccable service, look no further than Byblos restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality,Every dish was a masterpiece, bursting with fresh ingredients and bold, aromatic spices. We started with the homemade hummus creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced with olive oil and tahini. The falafel was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and paired wonderfully with their tangy garlic sauce.
For the main course, the mixed grill platter was a highlight succulent lamb chops, juicy chicken skewers, and tender kafta, all grilled to perfection. The fattoush salad was refreshing with its crisp vegetables and zesty sumac dressing, while the moutabal (smoky eggplant dip) was so flavorful we couldn’t stop scooping it up with their warm, pillowy pita bread.
The baklava was delightfully flaky and sweet, layered with nuts and honey, while the kunafa was pure bliss—gooey, cheesy, and perfectly caramelized.
The staff went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. Attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the cuisine, they offered excellent recommendations and ensured everything was served with...
Read moreThe food is very nice, somewhat like quite poor Lebanese in Lebanon or quite fine one in Warsaw. The portions are small. The service is absolutely terrible. First, we got cold pitas in plastic bags. It was heated after we asked, so apparently it's possible. Then we got sparkling wine with no cooler. I needed to ask 3 times to get it. There was almost no ice, since they said an ice machine doesn't work. The waitress limited her interactions with us to zero and didn't ask us anything: if the food is good, if we wanted anything else, if we want a dessert (I wanted). I'd eat anything, so they lost a lot. The waitress wasn't present in the restaurant, but smoking outside and the guy behind the bar was on his phone, so I couldn't order anything. The staff was bothered, if we asked anything. They're all...
Read moreWas quite excited to try Byblos after seeing the google rating and reading the reviews which said ‘Friendly staff, tasty food, great atmosphere’. Unfortunately not the case. First red flag was there was no one there on a Friday night at 7.30pm. There was never more than 4 other people in the restaurant while we were there which is not a good sign. The town was pumping. Staff were unfriendly and it seemed like a burden to have us there. We had the kofta and the chicken. Both came with what I’d describe as a garnish salad, a sauce and fries. The meats and sauces were tasty, the fries were luke warm at best. They’d been sitting around a while. Prices had gone up by about 15% since a year ago too (see my photo of menu). We left quite...
