This place is a MUST-TRY! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the warmest welcome and biggest smiles. The atmosphere was absolutely delightful - cozy, inviting, and buzzing with happy energy. Our waitress, was an absolute gem! So friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. The food! Every dish from starter to the main course was a masterpiece. We started with the appetizers - cheese and lard with bread, which was incredible, and the pork knuckle and pork ribs was cooked to perfection. Honestly, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much.

Seriously, if you're looking for a restaurant with delicious food, fantastic service, and a wonderful atmosphere, look no further. We will definitely be back!

P.S. Don't forget to try the lard with bread! You won't...

I didn't have a reservation, so I came to the restaurant by accident - and wasn't it just the best accident! I asked the waitress for a food and drinks recommendation and she (Aga) was too kind with me. You wouldn't be wrong to order the potato pancakes and the chocolate cheesecake. I really enjoyed them and the meal was also not too heavy on the stomach (along with Źwiec lager beer in moderate amounts). The atmosphere is very homely and relaxed. The sisters who run the place (Aga and Madzia) are very friendly and lovely girls who will make you feel at home even if you're abroad. I was happy to know that I visited a local business and wasn't feeding the big sharks who already make great profits from foreigners. Would definitely come again! I found this place through the map from Free Walking Tours (which I can recommend btw) and decided to check it out to get some actual Polish food on my last night here. I can't judge how authentically Polish it was, but at least it was unlike anything I've had before. It tasted amazing, as did the "hot beer" I ordered with it (even if it doesn't taste like beer). Only downside is a couple of wasps seemed to agree with me there, but that's not the restaurant's fault.

As for the price... I see a bunch of other reviewers calling it expensive but I personally felt like a cheapskate despite giving a 10% tip. It's so much cheaper than I'm used to, especially for such amazing food. Then again, I'm not particularly used to Polish...
