Cukiernio-kawiarnia Batida — Restaurant in Warsaw

Today this area was packed as there was a march happening, but they were open, although they definitely shouldn't as they clearly couldn't handle the volume of clients. A colleague went inside and they sold him a coffee and an ice cream without saying he would have to wait more than an hour in a line outside to get the damn ice cream - they simply said he would have to get it outside. Once he had the coffee, we went to the line. The line only moved because most people would give up and leave it. We couldn't look at how unprepared the girl serving it was: she complained about the ice cream being too frozen, but she was clearly particularly slow herself, and absolutely no manager showed up around to see she needed support or even a replacement, as she could be tired. After being there for 40 minutes and seeing the line barely moved (she served at the most 6, 8 people during the whole time we were there), we just gave up on waiting and gave the paid bill for the next person in the line to get our ice cream for herself. You guys really own us ice creams and 40 minutes...

Desserts are Ok... Service- awful. So many people at the till, but no one is coming to collect an order. After 15 minutes of watching everyone avoiding eye contact, I had to order at the till... shameful (than again, maybe real French experience ;-) ). Desserts arrives before cofffe... ordered americano decaf with ice - got white americano with ice... omg - no one knows what they are doing. No senior memebr of stuff. The atmosphere and whole place - no charm and looking modern, not really matching to...

One of our favorite patisserie places in Warsaw. The place is cosy, the service is warm and welcoming. Our favorite cake there is Cake of Love(Ciasto milosci).
