That place used to be amazing with passion and bar guys were super professional but recently I have noticed this place is going down. Being an ex hospitality manager clubs and busy bars- there are things we spot easily. let’s start with cocktails - they are good, appealing and taste good as these cocktails are not that difficult cocktails to make, a lot of fresh fruits.
The bar men are extremely chilled out, they go with their own pace, takes order from customers, looks at his phone, talks to his friends and he starts making cocktail whenever he wants ( pretty much all of them) during off time or not busy time, it takes minimum 15 mins. Bar back guys are either drunk or high in something. Being drunk at work - 100% will be fired from my bar.
I was surprised to the see stack of bar is filthy and dirty, bottles, the metal cage between the bar and ceiling ( cobwebs everywhere) something we say lack of leadership at the place and that is what I believe is going on at the moment. Staffs have zero urgency to serve and I don’t understand this attitude. I guess bar is doing well, but but let’s not take things for granted. I’m going to see their busy operation - how they operate these days! Probably have to wait half n hour...
Read moreWe went to this beautiful bar tonight as our first time visiting Warsaw and was told the bar make their cocktails based of conversations. We told the bartender we love exotic fruit cocktails which are sweet. When the cocktails arrives they tasted very strong of tequila and we didn’t like them, to which we told one of the bar tenders. He advised us to speak to the member of staff who serves us them and said that he spoke with him and that he will be over in a moment. I asked for the bill and seen the price was 171 zl. I had asked for some discount off this as we did not drink any of the drinks which were served, and the bartender got angry and very defensive in front of other customers in the bar saying that we have to pay as we asked for the bill, even though we advised one of the bar tenders that the cocktails were not nice. Embarrassing us in front of a bar full of people was totally inappropriate, and rather than speaking to us to find a solution, he instead walked away and left us with the card machine. This is the worst customer service I have ever received, and I would recommend avoiding the stunning bar due to the staff attitudes and...
Read moreThis place is an absolute gem to behold. The concept of freestyle drinks is perfectly executed. But one mixologist stands out among others - Jakub. The guy's a genius and elevates the drinks to an entirely different level. Other drinks I tried here were good, his on the other hand held the perfect balance, texture and aromatics of one of the best cocktails that I've ever tried. We ended up trying different combinations of them with even more adventurous ingredients and unlike other places that shy with their artistic expression when adding a "unique" ingredient like celery, cloves, cucumber, etc. Jakub doesn't. He magically imbues the flavours where they pop out of the drink while playing nicely with the alcohol content of it as well. Plus he's an awesome guy explaining how he made the drink with the thought process and the effort that went in. We ended up visiting the place once again the day after. Absolutely...
