I am from California, so I knew this was going to be a stretch, but I gave it a try. I ordered guacamole, flautas (with 12-hour beef) and tacos (al pastor) and had two tequila shots. First, the guacamole tasted without salt. But good still. Chips - stale. Flautas, as someone else pointed out, the tortillas are just odd. At first cut, it felt stale again. Meat was good, nice spice, but not a lot of accompaniment. Then, tacos al pastor. OK, marinated in pineapple, not a big fan but SERVED with the damn pineapple!! One bit tasted similarly to moldy. I took the pineapple out and it was semi-ok after. Again, stale shells (to me). I noticed anything 'crema' was mayo-based. Poland is the land of sour cream and not a lick of it anywhere. And the finale, two shots of different types of tequila. Patron came out normal. The second, the oddest sheite possible...rim covered in cinnamon, and an orange wedge!! SO strange!! If this was Cali, I would give it one star, but it is Poland so I will give them an OKEY DOKEY for...
Read moreMe and my wife choose this restaurant for a late friday dinner. All goes well, atmosphere, music were really pleasant. We ordered some food and start wait when it would be ready. It takes some time, but restaurant was full, so it was expected. The thing that was unexpected has happen a half an hour later. As I said before it was a late when we come about 10:30 pm, so after a half an hour of waiting the order we understand it too much food to eat at once, so we ask waiter to pack food in a box to take away. She bring us a box and bag and said we must pack all food by ourselves. We ordered fajitos, so it was still pretty hot and consistence is pretty uncomfortable to pack. Actually it was the first time in my life when waiter ask guests to pack food by themselves. Especially if we speak about restaurant on central street. I asked again the waiter to pack food, but get reject once again. I think its not ok. Food was good, but service is awful. Never come back to Frida, and never advice...
Read moreFrida was a random selection to try out Mexican cuisine. There are many Mexican restaurants in Warsaw and Poland. I tried not all but many of them. Frida is the best out of all. Frida is serving all fresh and the most deliciously prepared Mexican dishes. The restaurant interior is quite authentic and feels like in local mexico as soon as you step inside. I believe, there are all traditional dishes served here from local Mexico. The taste, aroma, serving portions, and freshly chosen ingredients make them unique and stand out with their own identity. Once you will visit the restaurant then immediately you can understand my truthful words. They made the evening outstanding and superb not only for myself but also for my beloved family. This was the first time I visited Firda but 100% I will place them at spot number 1 to visit often. It will be my first choice after today. I recommend trying this Mexican restaurant in Warsaw. You will...
