We were excited to try this place because it had SO many good reviews. The atmosphere is fun and they have monkey lights hanging from the walls, which is always a plus. We asked to sit at one of the window-seat tables, which would have been much more comfortable had there been a stool or railing for feet to go on. As it was, our feet dangled about a foot off the ground.

This is a matter of opinion, but my first mark against Thai Me Up was the note on the menu offering a free lemonade or tea to anyone who shows the server they’ve written a review of the restaurant. This is a personal pet peeve of mine, because it smacks of bribing customers to skew the google algorithm. In their defense, I will say that there was no requirement that the review be good (some places offer free food in exchange for 5-star reviews), however I think it unlikely that many people would write an honest but negative review knowing they would need to show it to their server for the free drink.

The spicy Tom Ka Gai we ordered as an appetizer came after a reasonable amount of time and was delicious. But the wait for our main courses was over an hour long. At first we were told it was because they were busy, later that there had been a problem in the kitchens. This alone would not have been enough to warrant two stars from me. When my grilled fish came it was delicious, and my husband’s green curry was good, although a bit salty.

BUT we both were sick by the time we made it home from the restaurant.

Final notes: My only qualm with the atmosphere was that one of the servers smelled so strongly of body odor that the smell was overpowering when he was at a nearby table.

Disclaimer: our server was delightful and apologetic for the wait, and she in no way contributed to a low review. In fact, she agreed to bring us each a free drink because the wait...

Le service ne casse pas 3 Pad Thai à un canard.

Honestly, the food was good( thanks to Ditsungnoen Khimhan for the mushrooms, he goes in the forest every morning to gather them with love) but the service was the worst I had ever seen.

We came in and nobody welcomed us, we waited to be seated and after 2min an apathetic waiter indicated us that we could sit at a table by pointing at it without saying a word.

The waiter was absolutely disinterested and nonchalant, everything was very slow, no eye contact, no courtesy whatsoever, I had never seen that before.

The woman behind the bar prepared our drinks before putting them on the bar, they stayed there for almost 10 minutes, the waiter walked past them many times but he couldn’t be bothered. After that, the lady behind the bar decided to bring our drinks to the wrong table (the poor girl wasn’t even trained to hold a tray properly), then we finally got them.

The food was served pretty fast, but we were staring at our plates for almost 5 minutes, the waiter had forgotten cutlery and chopsticks, when we asked him, it felt like we were bothering him.

But the good thing is that the waiter doesn’t know how to count money so he gave us too much change.

The management should train the staff and give jobs to people who...

Having traveled to Thailand many times, I can confidently say that Thai Me Up is an exceptional find. The moment you walk in, the inviting atmosphere sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. We started with the Som Tam, which was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of heat and tang. The Pad Thai was a standout, bursting with flavor and expertly cooked. The Lab was a delicious surprise, with its fresh herbs and zesty dressing that elevated the dish. Finally, we indulged in the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our feast. Each dish was generous in portion, and I found myself blissfully stuffed by the end of the meal. The service was attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Thai Me Up truly captures the essence of Thai cuisine, and I can’t recommend it enough. Just be warned: you might leave in a...

Incredible. Experience that brings you right to Thailand. The menu is rich, and the food. I ordered Som Tam (Papaya salad) and Chicken Satay. The first one is exactly what is made in Thailand, refreshing, crunchy, spicy but not painfully hot, just right. The satay is juicy and the sauce was amazing. I also couldn’t hold back from ordering Thai Tea, and what i noticed, that is made with coconut milk which is perfect for me and my lactose intolerance. The tea is perfect and you could see tiny pieces of tea leaves. it’s sweet, concentrated and soft at the same time. It took some time to place an order, i saw servers being a little overwhelmed with the crowed but the tiny wait was totally worth it. The interior is very comfy, especially the window seats are nice, absolute favourite. Thank you very much
