Rejczel Wisła — Restaurant in Warsaw

This was the first time that I walked out of a café without finishing whatever I ordered. The only thing we ordered, was two cappuccinos with coconut milk. The barista was very nice, but slow even though there was pretty much no one there. It took probably over 10 minutes to make 2 cappuccinos. When they finally arrived, it was not a cappuccino but coffee water with some milk in it. It was very bad tasting and had absolutely nothing in common with actual coffee. Both cappuccinos were that way, so I told the barista that it was not what we ordered, to which she replied that coconut milk doesn't froth. That may be true in some cases, but I've had a cappuccino with coconut milk before and there was always some foam. I don't think she actually attempted to froth it as she thought it would not make any difference. No problem, I asked if we can have cappuccino with regular milk than, because this one was simply undrinkable. 10 min later, we received our new cappuccinos which were even worse. Again, no foam, just milky coffee water that tasted like leftovers from some coffee machine. The milk in one cappuccino also tasted spoiled. We took 2 sips each and left. We recently visited this venue for a drink and were impressed with the quality of service. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we decided to stay for lunch. The prawn pasta dish that my mother-in-law ordered was forgotten, and when it finally arrived, it was 15 minutes late.

This caused our party to not be able to eat together, which was disappointing. While we did receive an apology, we were surprised that no discount or form of compensation, such as a complementary drink, was offered for the inconvenience caused.

To make matters worse, we explicitly requested to pay in PLN but were charged in GBP instead. When we questioned this, the waitress claimed that we had pressed the wrong button on the card machine, when in fact she had selected it. As a result, an extra £10 was added to our bill, and no action was taken to rectify the situation.

Overall, I was disappointed with the service that was provided by this venue. While the initial drink service was good, the experience during lunch was not up to par. I hope that they take this feedback seriously and take steps to address these issues to ensure that future customers have a more...

Been this place two times already and workers here were not very friendly most of the time during the visit and we had to visit this place because of the location. However this time, one staff behind the bar was trying to recommend me some different style of drinks and also was smiling much.
