First of all I want to say that this place is new.
I know for a fact that a tremendous amount of work, planning, and patience has been put into it.
And I plan on visiting again to hopefully upgrade this rating.
So let's start:
Location : 5 Ideally situated 4 minutes on foot from the main square, this space on the river is peaceful, scenic, but yet still very much alive.
Design : 5 Sophisticated, elegant, minimalist. The elements used to make this space are fresh and light.
Food : 4 Nothing spectacular or mind blowing. An honest meal. There was no menu in English and appetizers or desserts didn't seem to be available (small kitchen - understandable).
Service : 2 The guy (beard) was sincerely friendly (the only true plus) and our waitress smiled once. But the two waitresses seemed to be overworked and as a result weren't friendly or warm and we waited 10 minutes for our order to be taken without being acknowledged for the same amount of time.
Now here is where I feel the experience was slightly sour:
1 - The service mentioned above
2 - BIG NO NO - when my daughter and I walked in my daughter (11 years old) fell through a 20cm gap between the raft and the dock. This was on the normal walking path and she injured her leg pretty badly - it could have been worse. The guy with the beard (mentioned above) was there immediately to help, I don't know if any other staff saw it but I would be surprised if they didn't. If this had been an adult, someone that looked like they had money to spend, or someone who would have yelled about it I'm sure more attention would have been given to this issue. In all honesty I think it could have been handled much better - this is coming from someone in the hospitality business.
We have been looking forward to visiting for a long time and I would have wanted to give 5 stars today.
Hopefully next time these things will...

👍 The Pros:
🍴 The restaurant offers an excellent selection of pizza toppings. 🍷 The wine list is impressive, with plenty of choices to complement your meal. 🌳 The outdoor seating area provides a tranquil and beautiful ambiance, perfect for relaxing with friends and family. 👎 The Cons:
🚗 The location can be a bit challenging to find, and parking is limited. 🕰️ Service can be slow during peak hours. 💰 The prices are a bit on the higher side compared to other pizza places in the area. 👉 In summary, if you're looking for a great pizza place with a beautiful setting and excellent wine selection, Domek nad Fosą is definitely worth a visit. Read moreWe’ve been to Domek nad Fosą twice now, and both times were simply wonderful. The location is stunning — right on the water, surrounded by greenery — and the atmosphere is incredibly relaxing. It feels like a little escape from the city.
The food has been consistently delicious. We shared a bottle of Italian red wine on each visit, enjoyed their charcuterie board, fresh salads, and pizzas — all of which were lovely. The menu has a great balance of quality and comfort, and it pairs perfectly with the setting.
What really sets this place apart is the staff. They are genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel comfortable and at ease, no matter who you are or who you’re with.
