I’ve read a lot of positive reviews about this restaurant and several friends were highly recommending this place. Looks like this place is very popular on the weekends during lunch and it could be now available tables and you should wait if you have not reserved table in advance. They have terrace with table outside inside there are also tables but space is soo small, there are 2 air-conditioner but they are not managed when it’s hot. So I give 3 points for interior. What about food and service, well my expectations were too high. We ordered: 3 types of chikali (with cheese it was more or less but another one was hot and a lot of spicy, it was mentioned in menu), home made lemonade( waitress told us that it’s staying in the fridge but it’s not cold, but it’s appeared the drink was warm, IMHO they could add some ice but probably they wants to sell more lemonade in glasses), shashlik (served with onion and coriander it was OK but a little bit over-burned on the top), Chaczapuri po Adżarsku ( was good a lot of cheese but it wasn’t suluguni as in original reception). 3 points for food. I have no idea why everybody is so excited of this place, prices are average for prices in city center and for me there was...
Read moreHere we tried the appetisers and main dishes. They are fresh and delicious. It is clear that they are selected by quality(traditional). Especially the garlic chicken is a must try. We would definitely suggest traditional dumplings and khachapuri. The quantity is enough and they are not small. The place itself is spacious ( they have two restaurants and reservation must be done at least in the morning. It is clean and ordered. The staff is super kind and welcoming. The selected wines and beverages are also traditional Georgian. The prices are reasonable. Highly recommended!
Positive feedback for restaurant:
the wines might be kept between 17-19 °C for easy drinking and taste( If there are no special reason 😊)
The main door must be closed automatically as it gets cold for the closer desks when customers...
Read moreWe were a group of 6 and had a lovely dinner at this simple restaurant. The food was good. What was better, was the service and treatment we received. We had the best service and treatment from the waitress (Estera). Every product that came to our table was explained in absolute great depth. She even gave us the history of each and every order we had. I must say we all thought she was Georgian because of the passion with which she explained about the history of Georgian people and why the Georgian food is eaten the way it is. We were so happy, we could not resist but to all clap together as a group when she finally said thank you at the end. If you visit the place do ask to be served by Estera and trust me you will enjoy your dinner. We rarely see such people with a passion and love for...
