Gniazdo — Restaurant in Wrocław

The service was awful today. Me and two my friends had to take a sit at the dirty table, as the waiters were very busy and were just passing through us. I understand thery are overloaded and it's fine to wait a bit, but when I asked the waiter politely to clean the table, she said that it's our fault we took such table and that she couldn't remember each table. Finally, she agreed to clean and wiped the dirt agressively on our knees. I believe the owner should pay more attention to the situation with crowds of people, who are waiting for their order for 40 (!) minutes at dirty tables. For example, in other restaurants the waiters meet guests at the entrance, so they can control how many people they have inside and if there's enough prepared tables. I visited this place a few times before and I really liked the drinks, the food and the backyard. I hope that you will fix this issue and I'll return again, bringing my friends and telling them about such great...

Hip coffee house centrally located and close to the Monopole hotel. Coffees tend to be delicate, lightly roasted and acidic. If you are looking for a dark and smokey roast drip you may be out of luck. Expect light breakfast type coffee. The place is bustling with activity so you may find it difficult to find a seat.

I sat at the bar that is against the front window. The person next to me got up to leave and when doing so bumped some things around to the point that a roller blind came loose and unrolled on top of my area knocking a bit of milk over. The server noticed this apologized, although it was no fault of hers, and brought me a new cup of coffee without me requesting it. She later came back over and offered me another complementary piece of cake which I declined since I had one and was already sated. I was very impressed by this small but meaningful detail. They have a great staff.

Very tasty food 👍 we had some disappointments though, especially after all the nice opinions we've read online

the tables on the inside garden were dirty, with the traces of shoes as if someone was jumping on them ? Why wasn't it cleaned before opening restaurant?

I understand the self service, but there were no paper menus that I could have taken with me back to the table - this is why I made those photos :D plus the menu was entirely in Polish, a little inconvenient for any foreign guests to choose anything 🤷‍♀️

the place was highly understaffed, the guy who was taking orders was also responsible for making all the coffees. Everyone was really polite, but you could feel the consequences of that issue - I received my meal, my boyfriend's meal came 5 minutes after mine, and our drinks came 20 minutes later (we already finished eating).
