If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine in the heart of Zakopane, look no further than Indian Taste. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an atmosphere that blends the charm of Zakopane with the vibrant spirit of India.
The menu offers a delightful journey through India’s rich culinary heritage, with dishes crafted to perfection. The chicken tikka masala was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had—tender chicken in a velvety, flavorful sauce that hit all the right notes. The lamb rogan josh was another standout, cooked to perfection with a wonderful balance of spices and tenderness. Vegetarians will love the dal makhani, a comforting and hearty dish bursting with flavor.
Each bite transported us to the streets of India, and the fresh, fragrant spices used in every dish made the meal unforgettable. The naan bread was light, fluffy, and perfect for soaking up all the delicious curries. To top it off, the presentation of every dish was thoughtful and added to the experience.
What made this visit even more special was the attentive and friendly service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience, making great suggestions and tailoring the spice levels to our taste.
Indian Taste Zakopane is a true gem. Whether you’re a local or a traveler, it’s the perfect place to indulge in authentic Indian flavors. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and delicious dining experience...
Read moreThe last restaurant experience was an absolute disaster. I decided to visit one restaurant that has a sign saying it has gluten free food, just like all the other Indian restaurants we have visited so far. Upon arrival, we were told that they had like one gluten-free dish on their menu, which we found odd considering they had ingredients for every dish and apparently gluten was not there. We therefore preferred to ask the staff, who were extremely arrogant (the guy with the gold watch, black cap and black gloves). He first told us that they didn't have any gluten free dishes, which shocked us, so we at least showed him what we found on the menu and at that point he said that I guess they did have a gluten free dish then, but only one.
The service was terrible. He barely spoke any English and his pronunciation was so bad we had a hard time understanding him. Plus, instead of coming to the table, they talked over him. My friend ended up ordering food she didn't want at all, just to have something. Unfortunately, it wasn't good either. The rest of the food was quite tasty, but the overall experience at the Indian restaurant was terrible. We will never go back until they change the service attitude and have a transparent menu. So to all the dieters out there, they don't even know what they are selling here, but I hope this person was an exception and this restaurant owner will take some...
Read moreWe were in Zakopane on a trip and suddenly we saw that an Indian restaurant was available in Zakopane. My husband and I expected the taste to be very good and we can't wait to eat the meal. Firstly, the whole service is too slow and they don't take proper care of any single table. We order vegetarian food, mix vegetables and malai kofta along with good tea and the food along with tea arrives within 45 minutes. The moment the food served by one of the staff was only in one small cup (cadaie small like a baby bowl) as if we were eating a baby 😋 hehhe and then we started eating and it was worst as hell, Mix Veg was made from Tamoto paste which it is easily available in the market without frying in oil and malai kofta in curd with only potatoes, at that time we couldn't even complain as there were many people and families in the restaurant to eat the food. We understand that they care about the taste of food of all nationalities, but please do not forget about your own culture and taste of food. In fact, you should serve real Indian food to all other nationalities so that they can try Indian food and try to adapt to the same. The way Indain adapts the taste and food culture of all other nationalities and also follows their rules. Upgrade your Chef to bring the Indian taste of food to other...
