I recently visited Bella with a group of seven for lunch. We ordered a variety of dishes including three cheeseburgers, one pizza Margherita, one pizza pepperoni, one pasta Bolognese, and one house burger. While the service staff was friendly, the overall dining experience left much to be desired.
The pasta Bolognese was okay, offering a decent portion without standing out in terms of flavor. Similarly, the pizzas—both Margherita and pepperoni—were acceptable in presentation but lacked depth and seasoning, making them rather bland despite the fresh toppings visible in the photos.
The cheeseburgers and house burger were particularly disappointing. The patties were dry, the buns lacked moisture, and there was an absence of sauce, leaving the meal to rely solely on a basic patty and some vegetables. Even though the house burger had some moisture, it lacked some flavor.
Additionally, we visited during happy hour, yet the staff attempted to charge us full price for our drinks, which felt misleading and detracted from the value proposition. The waiting time was another significant issue; despite a manageable number of customers, the delay in receiving our food was excessive, impacting the overall enjoyment of the meal. The ambiance was pleasant, and the location is convenient, which saves this experience from a...
Read moreWe’ve been here a maybe 2/3 of times over the span of 3 years. Food really isn’t great. Pizzas are ok. Pasta is awful! We ordered as a table of 6, waiter really looked like he did not want to be there. Whilst waiting for our food, one table across from us had a cockroach on there table and in an panick had knocked the drink over. Waiters and staff did not help at all, walked straight past them. Then eventually the woman I assumed had complained and they got them some napkins etc to wipe it up. After around 30 minutes, food arrived one of our dishes was missing. Around 5 minutes later it arrived, what I can only assume out the microwave. The prices are very high here for this area, we didn’t eat here again after this....
Read moreDelicious pastries, great coffee and friendly staff, keen to be of service. I was able to communicate in English. Nice little corner cafe with outdoor seating, though just next to a fairly trafficked roundabout if you care about such things. I liked the chill pop music going on with nice outside speakers. The furniture is a bit metal and plastic-y for my hipster tastes and the whole place is sparsely decorated, but I can appreciate how that's the pre-millenial idea of style. Nappy changing tables only in the...
