Casa Nostra — Restaurant in Albufeira

Everything was great apart from one server, his name is Kofel. The way he spoke with me was completely disrespectful, he even sighed and rolled his eyes at me when I responded to what he muttered at me. He hadn't served me the entire time and came over mumbled about some accidental split water on the floor, didn't listen to the explanation then responded with a disgusted face, an eye roll and walking off like I was something he had stepped in. He didn't even return to clean it, so I was sat in a puddle of water until another colleague came to clean it. The remainder of the time he stood (as previously) next to the bar doing absolutely nothing. I felt disrespected and unnecessary attention had been drawn to me over something so trivial. It is such a shame such a rude and inconsiderate person ruined an experience that was lovely. Food was excellent, other servers Cristian and Aman were very attentive, with Woody the musician and Colin the front man providing entertainment and great hospitality. You'll spot this restaurant located right at the bottom of the double escalators. We were invited in by a very friendly staff member named colom (something like that) We just wanted a quiet drink, sit enjoy the view and people watch. We had a great choice of drinks and were easily tempted by the menu. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. We love photography, armed with our cameras, we captured a few hours of pleasing images. I would certainly give a 10 star rating for this venue, extremely clean and the most fantastic of staff Quite honestly, it is the best restaurant we've found in albufeira. Came here whilst on a couple days away, just happened to walk past and like the sound of the menu, ordered a cappuccino and pint of Sagres which arrived promptly after ordering, after having abysmal coffee since arriving a couple days prior hopes weren’t high but was delicious especially if you like your coffee with whipped cream and chocolate powder!!

We then ordered a lasagne and sirloin steak (med. rare) which also came out swiftly and both were absolutely delicious, the steak was basted with garlic butter and perfectly cooked and the lasagne was hot and could tell it was home made.
