We saw that there was a well reviewed taqueria and thought we'd give it a try as we love spicy food (comida picante) as well as Mexican flavors. They also offered margaritas. How can one say no to that? Immediately, we were greeted by the bold colors and cultural images from MX. The staff immediately helped us find a table and were super friendly and acknowledged the presence of our children as well. I took photos of what I could but unfortunately missed out on the tacos my husband and I ordered. I ordered a margarita, 1 taco napoles, 1 taco carnitas, and 1 gringa. We also ordered chips with pico de gallo which was a healthy serving and delicious; just like I remember. The margaritas were a standard size with a really nice, unique salt rim which you just have to order to try. A little spendy but they're decently strong. The tacos were all great, even the vegan napoles I tried (a new flavor for me). There were 2 hot sauces available and were great options for the tacos. Both worked for some tacos and others may be just 1 or the other. There is a 3rd that's got a good kick, but you may need to ask for that. What's great is that you can enjoy most of these flavors if you're not into the whole spicy thing. If you're in the area, head on over and...

We were greeted by and seated by two different people who were very sweet and polite. Then a 3rd person, a lady, came around because I had a question about how the margaritas are made (I have IBS and get flare ups with white sugar so I wanted to know if the margaritas are sweetened with agave). The lady was SO RUDE in responding to my question, it shocked me. I don’t know what that was about, everything had been completely fine up to that point, her rudeness and unfriendliness were completely uncalled for. In addition, the food was pretty mediocre and there was no option of chicken tacos. I have never experienced such level of rudeness, will never come back and will do not recommend this...

We were staying at the Kavia Hotel do Largo so ate breakfast at this restaurant daily. It was basic but the service was excellent. One night we decided to check out their evening meals….. Mexican Taqueria. Wow! It was one of the most enjoyable nights of our month in Portugal. Freshly made tacos with traditional ingredients that were to die for. The owners served us and we were not disappointed. Friendly and responsive, we felt like we were joining friends for supper. Even when one of our drinks got accidentally knocked over by one of the servers he brought us some tequila shots to make up for it. It worked! LOL. It was a great experience all around. Highly...

Having been raised on Mexican food , I’ve been on a mission to find the best Mexican food in the area for years. So, when I asked a local Mexican specialty food owner if he knew of a place, and he recommended this one, I got there as soon as possible. I could have cried when they told me they sold FROZEN margaritas, and when I tasted the very authentic street tacos. It helps that the staff were all so friendly and attentive too! Thank you to Jose and his crew for helping me feel at home. We’ll be back again…and again…and again.

I'm Mexican and this place was surprisingly good. The pastor taco was good, but the cochinita was an absolute bomb, so very well prepared, just like back home. And the sauces are actually spicy!!! 👌🏻 I was very pleased. The agua de jamaica was also a perfect execution. The tacos are not hard shells which is a welcome and fun surprise here in Europe. Overall I was very pleased. If you are craving Mexican food, this is definitely a good spot. My vegetarian friend was able to have mushrooms and rajas tacos, which is also a plus!
