The weird thing about the Crow Bar is that it's in Cascais, not Bairro Alto. The weird thing about Bairro Alto is that there are no rock bars. The other weird thing about the Crow Bar, a rock bar in Cascais and not in Bairro Alto, is that it's customer base doesn't appear to be long-haired metalheads.
We first went in the summer of 2016 and we were very happy to go back (quite a few times) in September, 2018. Bruno is a good bartender and very friendly (in his own way). His colleague, a very pretty, tattooed lady, was a bit shy but nice. Where else can you get a caneca and a bottle of Heineken for a total of only €4.50? I'll tell you where - the bar across from the train station in Tunes (Silves) down in the south of Portugal! But you won't hear any rock and roll there!
I don't know who owns this bar but my God, I hope they make enough money here to keep it open. We're rockers and even if it isn't a rock crowd (when we've been there), at least it's rock! And...

The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, they smoke inside, they have music, speak English, and easy to talk to the bartender.
