We have to be honest - the idea of vegan ice cream & doughnuts put us off a bit but a family eating in front encouraged us to try & we are so glad we did. The chocolate hazelnut doughnut had the perfect texture and was filled with chocolate-hazelnut spread that oozed when you bit into it. If we hadn’t known, we never would have guessed it was vegan. The almond coffee ice cream was richly coffee flavored - the almond was more subtle but it was rich & creamy as ice cream should be. The cookies & cream was sweet with small cookie chunks. It melted quicker than the coffee one for some reason, so was quickly enjoyed. Highly recommend stopping in for a treat when you’re in Cascais!

The doughnuts are so good. So good. Every time I went to Lisbon I got a box of their doughnuts and now there's another store in Cascais, and the space is charming. But seriously-- best doughnuts in the world. These are the only doughnuts I actually like to eat. And the flavours are so unique and delicious, the food here is true art. There's always new flavours to try! Love the banoffee doughnut. Absolutely delicious.

Didn't at first realise this place is totally vegan - it has an incredible range of vegan ice creams on offer. Felt spoilt for choice, but we were offered samples to help us make up our minds by the very helpful owner! The result was a beautifully presented and delicious plate of warmed doughnut, topped with vegan cream and ice cream, with sauce and garnishes and accompanied by an espresso - perfect !

I rarely write reviews, but being someone who is lactose intolerant, I was very excited to see that a vegan dessert shop was opening in my neighborhood in Cascais. I'm not vegan, and to be honest was very sceptical that the ice cream would even come close to measuring up to my favorite gelatos in Italy where I have spent many years consuming A LOT throughout the country.

I was beyond thrilled to discover that not only is Scoop n Dough's at par, but they supercede most, if not all, of them with their wonderful flavors and surprisingly creamy texture, especially considering no dairy products are used!! 😋 Same goes for my comparisons to other ice cream shops in Cascais and everywhere I have traveled.🍦

Being from East Coast U.S., I again had doubts that their new NY-style chocolate chip cookie would be as good as they claimed. Tried it, and it too is truly the best that I have ever had! So big with lots of chocolate and walnuts making for a perfect combination of tastes and textures. 🍪 The doughnuts are delicious as well, the plain ones for yummy ice cream sandwich creations! 🍩

To top it all off for me, in addition to the great benefit of everything being lactose-free (Yay!), the staff working there is the best... so welcoming, kind, patient, professional, and down-to-earth, which is also a big incentive for me to return as often as I do.

The only con is concern for my weight, since I can't stay away; however, I was told that the products are less caloric, since there are no eggs, so that is justification enough for my frequent visits. Life is short, eat desserts and just excercise more...😍

Keep doing what you're doing, Scoop n Dough team! Love the owners' story and journey thus far too. Best wishes, and thanks for being a spectacular addition to the neighborhood! I also adore macarons. I have yet to try yours, but will do so soon and compare them to my favorite in Paris. 😊 Até...

We were near by and wanted to get something sweet, we tought on trying the doughnuts and were actually quite nice and tasty, they were fresh and full of flavour. The banofee could have more toffee but it was amazing with bits of banana and the lemon one was delicious.

The place had a great vibe on the back there’s like a inside terrace with plants and quite fresh place with great atmosphere.

The workers were very friendly although there wasn’t a sit and serve service you have to pay and get it at the till we had a nice experience.

If you’re coming specially for this place and come by car is quite hard to park nearby the best is to search for a parking area.

Prices are high but the quality...
