EURASIA - Indian Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Coimbra

We chose this restaurant while in the mood for Indian cuisine, knowing we would be taking a trip to Forum, Coimbra (the mall). Everyone was kind, and we had a pleasant conversation with the owner while there. You could tell that he was passionate both about life and his work. We felt very welcome.

The cheese pizza was very good, and so was the rest of our meal, though the garlic Naan was not very much a soft bread so much as a crisp. It was an enjoyable experience, and we had the place to ourselves at the time (an added bonus).

My partner and I had landed in Coimbra after 3 weeks in Portugal and were craving some authentic Indian food. We didn't have high expectations, but we thought we'd give it a go anyway. We were blown away by the authenticity and freshness of the food.

The veg biryani was perfectly spiced and the naan was pillowy and perfect with all of the curries that we got. We enjoyed every single dish that we had.

The service was also very friendly and timely.

Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian food in Coimbra....

This is a 5 star food experience. Don't come here with expectations of pretentious decor, ambiance or finesse. Just try the food. Made to order, this is Indian food at it's best. We are from England and Indian food lovers, and we have tried many Indian restaurants, also in many countries all over Europe and Asia. This little place in Coimbra is a discovery. Don't be fooled by their plastic tables. Come here...
