Never before have we experienced such hospitality and such a high level of food and cuisine as at Bombay Palace in Faro. Despite the fact that the restaurant had only been open for a few days at the time of our visit, both the hospitality and the food were of a more than excellent level. This is not just another Indian restaurant, but one where they take the typical Indian dishes to a higher level. In terms of recipe, presentation, attention to detail and this certainly in combination with an almost star-worthy service. The staff and owners are neatly dressed in suits, wear black gloves and everything is very clean and fresh. We celebrated a birthday and were a total of six people, including two children. I have a gluten allergy and am a vegetarian, but this was taken into account very well. What we really enjoyed, besides the food and the service, was the modern and atmospheric decor. No ice-cold and cheap LED lighting and white moodless tiles on the floor, but a warm and pleasant modern atmosphere with brand new furniture. The only feedback we ultimately gave is that a different name for the restaurant would be better. The current 'Bombay Palace' sounds too much like the umpteenth 'normal Indian restaurant'. Too bad, because in all respects it is not. Bombay Palace is a fantastic Indian restaurant where they serve traditional dishes with a modern twist, including an unprecedented good service for this type of restaurant. A true gem of an Indian restaurant - absolutely unforgettable!

We were initially drawn in by the glowing reviews, and now we’re thrilled to be adding our own. From the moment we walked in, the warm, welcoming staff set the tone for an incredible experience. Every detail was on point – the service, the atmosphere, and above all, the food.

We were promptly guided through the menu with genuine care, and our request for a milder dish was not only respected but delivered with spot-on flavors tailored to our taste. The food was simply exceptional – tender, vibrant, and bursting with joy in every bite.

What made the lunch even more special was their kindness in celebrating my birthday. They played the “Happy Birthday” song and surprised me with a delicious panna cotta and candle – a truly touching gesture.

As I like to say: Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life. This team clearly lives by that. Passion pours from the kitchen to the table.
