We have just eaten here so before l start this is a truly genuine assessment of our experience. The place lacked atmosphere being an Italian restaurant the music playing was 2000 dance music, I'm sure in this day and age they could have sourced something more authentic. We were given the menu which was quite extensive but when l ask for a wine list was told there wasn't one and was brought two bottles to the table to choose from. When it came to order l ordered Spaghetti Bolonagnese my wife ordered meatballs with liginlini only to be told liginlini was not fresh so she had Spaghetti. To be honest the meatballs might as well of been from IKEA if you have ever had them not homemade. When it came to pay the bill we were told the card machine wasn't working this was after we had eaten so we had to dig around for cash of which we were 1.20e short. We were told we may have go to an ATM but when l said to give me the red book the owner appeared to say it was OK. All in all honestly this is not a true Italian restaurant don't get me wrong the female waitress was lovely but its not somewhere we will...
Read moreExcellent food and friendly staff in a cozy corner of town with historic views. We loved the gluten free pasta with prawns, pizza and red wine. Incredibly friendly staff which makes all the difference. Fair prices. Sitting inside or outside, it has always been a lovely atmosphere. If we have an IMT Faro appt, only a 5 minute walk to eat here. Also a few steps to nearby gardens, parks, Igreja do Carmo and Igreja de São Pedro. A 5-10 minute walk to historical landmarks, a medieval cathedral, Igreja de Santa Maria, Old town historic district, Cerca urbana de Faro, museums and the seaside. Well...
