Best sushi we ever had! My sister and I stayed in Faro for 11 days and we have been here 4 times because it's so good, but also the service is great! They have a lot of options in low prices and on a bit higher prices and everything is more than worth it! The people on service and the owner are so nice. They always came to have a conversation with us, made sure our glasses where filled and they even knew our favorite sushi and gave some to us on the house. We had our last day in Faro today and really wanted our last night to be at this place. After we paid they gave us some really nice shots on the house and talked a bit with us and everybody was so friendly and huged us to say goodbye and wish us a nice flight back home. We don't know everybody's names but Susan (I hope I wrote it right) and everybody else, we really want to thank you for making our vacation even better than it already was. If we ever come back to Faro, you guys will be the first place we will visit. Thanks for everything! Love, Amber and Myrthe

This place is alive only thanks to its location with lots of tourists, because i can hardly imagine a person who wants to visit it more than once. First of all,we had a bad luck to communicate with a waitress with a very low level of English comprehension. Also she didn’t know their menu, what they have and what they don’t. She took the order to oysters, later it turned out they are “not available today”. Instead of ordered large beer we got small and so on - service in general is very indifferent and no one, seeing that she could not cope, did not try to fix something. Food looks better than it tastes. Can’t say sushi were bad, just mediocre. 3 stars of 5 , maybe even little bit less. Gunbao with chicken tandoori was the main disappointment of the evening - I can’t remember have I ever tried in my life something as dry as this chicken. I refused it, however, they included it in the bill (removed after repeated complaint). It is typical tourist trap.

Enjoyed the buffet lunch here for €13.90 excluding drinks. Food is fresh, and if is of great value, considering that you also get get some sahimi options (tuna and salmon), some mixed fruit options, fried noodles, dumpings, squid rings, and a local dessert cake (really liked this one btw, it's a nutty crunchy flavour that reminds me of nutella but is not quite it) A great variety of rolls, lots of salmon options, they all taste great in general. Some that is a sin (fruits wrapped in rice if a Japanese person see this they must be furious haha) really not bad superb value for the price and I wish we have something like that as well in London. Staff is nice as well and offered to refill options

We really enjoyed this sushi restaurant. The fish was fresh and well presented. For today's lunch 'all you can eat' fixed price menu of 14.95 euros, there were at least 3 varieties of fish on offer or nigiri, salmon, tuna, and a white fish. Many roll options, 3 sashimi fish options salmon, tuna and mackerel (I believe). As well as the sushi options, there were some noodles, seaweed salad and another salad option, fruit and dessert. The online booking system didn't work when we tried to book, and when we arrived, just as lunch was starting, the internal seating was 100% reserved, even though those guests hadn't arrived yet and the restaurant was about 50% full. They held the reservations correctly and offered us outside seating. We sat outside across the street in their outdoor area and it wasn't a problem for weather or the buffet. The restaurant filled up quickly and we were glad to be outside as the queue to the buffet was long and surrounded the tables inside in a crowded manner. This place is popular and get's busy quickly. The staff was friendly, and the restrooms were clean and well maintained. The credit card machine/bancomat was not working, so it was cash only. There is an ATM near by in case. No receipt was available, even for the...

This is not a hate review but I was really let down. I've heard amazing stuff about this restaurant so me and my friend tried it out. To be fair it was August and the restaurant was full. Still although the few food that came was delicious the service was terrible. I feel bad to give such a bad review as the staff was friendly but totally out of organization. In the end my food came 20min after my friend 's order so I rejected as I was not hungry anymore. I was not waiting got my food 20min, my friend got the food maybe 30min after the order and my fish came only 20min after his. Also the communication with the waiters was not existing or poor. I've been here in low season some years ago and the experience was good but yesterday I can't really give more than 2 starts. I would say to avoid in high season, they don't have enough quality staff to serve a lot of tables but this is also for the business owner to consider instead of just putting a lot of tables and then can't offer a good service. 2 starts because the few food that came into the table was actually good. Prices on food were ok, on drinks a bit of an rip off. Nothing to worry about if the service was good but with a bad service you just leave with a wish you...

The service was atrocious, our food came all at different times and the waiter said it was because we ordered some things from the Ramen Ya restaurant, which we were not made aware of when ordering.

It was a bad sign when I had to go up and get menus myself from the bar. Ordered a Thai Green curry which was basically sauce and 5 prawns, asked for more prawns and was told yes no problem and they never came.

We had to flag down the staff as they basically ignored us. There was one waitress with dark hair who was very apologetic and helpful. I would understand if the restaurant was busy but there was more than enough staff.

I also ordered sushi, but by the time that came we had all finished, so we just asked for the bill and didn't eat it. The waiter who gave up on serving us, actually gave that sushi to the table behind us and told them it was on the house as they had been waiting a long time as well!!!

We were not offered any sort of discount for the terrible service, food quality was not worth the price. Will never go back, there are cheaper options with better quality food and...
