We were rudely rid off 2 times in 2 hours . 1st time they were opening it at 17. And it was 16:55 and waiteess said we can't cause other people will seat. Next time we sat athe table an she came outside to say that it is reserved after her a man vame out to put a reservation sign. This is not europe. Fk it. Edit. We clearly wanted to seat there we did not wanted anything from the waitress but sit and wait or we could stand there i assume this is how you handle things. Or when there was no reservation sign on the table because you forgot it and just said to go away, not to wiat for the table or nothing. I dont care every customer friendly place would do something in return in this hot sunny day when they fk up as you did. A glass of water would be enough i guess you are used to take only cash from the tourists. And tbh yes i think I had full right to say that you dont like us i have the same...

MadCuba is a great little spot for some drinks, and a tasty dinner as well if you are feeling hungry. The service is fast yet personal, and the drinks are very tasty! Happy hour between 5 and 7pm! Tasty cocktails and the lemonade was excellent!
The food was great! We ordered the chorizo, as well as the fresh salsa starter. Especially that chorizo hmmm, the sauce is simply superb. Main courses were good, both beef and pork variants are quality. Honest and home made food. Thoroughly enjoyed.
For dessert we had the passion fruit mousse, which was very tasty, and a coffee. The coffee deserves a special mention too! Thick cup, very tasty coffee blend and served piping hot. The Cubans know how to do good coffee :)
All in all, solid recommendation. Great service, excellent food, tasty drinks and everything for...
Read moreThe place is very nicely hidden in a quiet and discreet street in Funchal. To be honest in terms of atmosphere in the evening it is pretty nice and chill. We had cocktails here and I have to say they were very nice and tasted fresh. Authentic cuban Mojito with great flavors, fresh mint and Havana Club Rum. Very nice and not too sweet and the blend between the Rum, sparkling water and mint with sugar was delightful. The Pina Colada also was really great and authentic made with Coconut Cream which was very light. Topped with coconut crumbs inside again tasted like freshness in a good summer day after a long walk. I would definetely recommend you stop by to have drinks here. It...
