Guided by excellent Google reviews, we fancied a burger fix and both ordered combo burgers.

It was a messy affair in the best way.

The host was super friendly and helpful, asking what our preferences were and making order suggestions.

The burgers were excellent. Well cooked. Fries and wedges also.

Tranvia's only problem is that it is well hidden from the street in a small shopping arcade. It is very easy to walk past their signs on the narrow street. If you're heading up the slope and get to the Cuban place then you've gone too far. Do a 180 and backtrack and 20m and you'll see the arcade on the left side.

If you're craving an American burger or a burger with a twist. This. Is. The. Place. It is definitely one of the best smash burgers I've ever had and close to something you'd get in the US. Your patty blend was delicious and flavorful. I think if they add another patty option, a 50/50 smash burger to their menu (patty made with half bacon and half beef), they'd be even more authentic to the US smash burger experience. It's popular in MD. The staff were friendly even though they were busy with to go orders. I think the owner was excited to see an American enjoying the smash burger. Hands down, the best burgers we’ve ever had! Juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked to absolute perfection!

But what truly made our visit unforgettable was our amazing waitress. She welcomed us with a warm smile, made us feel right at home, and gave us a recommendation that turned out to be spot-on. You could tell she genuinely cared about our experience, and it made all the difference. Even took the time to be our tour guide for a little while and gave us some great venues for our next outing.
