There was only one option for wine by the glass (one red, one white). The wine was corked, and even when we asked the bartender to try it, he couldn't recognize the problem. He didn't offer us another glass from a different bottle. I ended up paying for two glasses we didn't drink, with no gesture of goodwill from the bartender. Very disappointed with both the service and the wine.

P.S. Regarding your response, we only requested a regular glass of wine, just like any normal wine bar offers. We did not ask for a new bottle or any special deal, so please don't misrepresent our request.

Beautifully presented meat and cheese board with plenty of crackers and bread. EUR22.00.  Personally the strawberry jam didn't quite work.  Far to sweet and fruity. Generous portion and the Goats cheese was particularly good once the strawberry jam had been scraped off. Good choice of wines. The house white is also very nice and a good price.  A few seats outside on the street. Good service and quality products. They also give you a small complimentary tapas plate with your drink. Just under EUR50 for a bottle of wine, 2 glasses...

A quite fantastic experience. Four of us visited Regios Wine Bar on our last evening in Madeira, sat outside, and had some lovely wine and food. Ambience was great, service professional, knowledgeable and friendly, and the wine was superb and great value. We (me and my wife) drank a red at 13 euros a bottle (well...2 bottles actually we drank!), and one of our friends had white which he said was great. We chatted, drank, ate lovely food from the boards, and had a fabulous evening....
