McDonald's — Restaurant in Funchal

Classic. If you don't know where else to go or just want to eat some food you know will taste exactly the same no matter where you are then this is where you go. It was clean and the service was as fast as expected (not super fast, not super slow either). You can enter on one side (only) and exit on the other side (only). There's also a person making sure everyone sanitizes their hands before entering. Seating is only available partially (due to COVID) - inside as well as outside. Compared to my country, the price was cheap: I payed about 5€ for a large meal. Toilett is clean, but only available...

Very friendly staff and a nice selection of food items not available in the UK including, incredibly, exceptionally nice coffee for less than €1 a cup. There's a café bar inside the restaurant which provides barista style coffee and snacks. There are healthy options on the main menu including some very nicely designed salads that aren't available in the UK. The prices and additional menu item options are impressively priced in a good way - incredible value for money. There's upstairs seating and cthe restaurant - and toilets...

Decent branch with some power outlets. Food was good quality. Good range of items. A trouble man came inside asking me to go to the ATM to withdraw cash for him. This behaviour shouldn't be happening inside a McDonalds but I guess it's difficult to control sometimes. I don't mind helping people in need but him insisting on me going to the ATM because I didn't have cash wasn't appreciated. I hope this behaviour doesn't happen often.
