Bela Rosa Restaurant — Restaurant in Lagoa

I'm not sure how to rate as the food was ok at first, a little greasy to my liking but what happened after leaves me with no choice of leaving 1 star. I only had breakfast and then lunch at Bela Rosa and after an hour of having grilled Sardines and grilled Squid I started feeling heavy on my stomach. Then it ended up with my stomach putting the whole food in where it should be. My family shared with me the Squid and the only food I ate alone were three Sardines. It makes me feel sick when I write it. I would stick away from them if I were you. You don't want an evening like I have on holiday.

Just to clarify, I haven't received any CCTV footage on my email, and I would be pleased if your were carrying enough to contact me first before checking with all other customers.

I understand it’s frustrating from a business perspective, but dismissing or blaming customers who report serious concerns isn’t the right approach. I hope you can take this feedback constructively to ensure the safety and satisfaction of your future guests.

I highly recommend this restaurant! We were talking with a lovely lady that works at the Rocha brava village resort and she made a recommendation of this restaurant. We decided to book a table and well we were certainly not disappointed! I highly recommend booking in advance, you can do so online, it is quite straight forward and means you wont be disappointed with no tables available. We were a party of 8, the staff had our table ready when we arrived slightly early, they were friendly and they sorted those of us that knew what we wanted with drinks straight away. When we ordered food they explained that a couple of the dishes take longer to cook but they would serve them all at the same time. My mother-in-law had the chicken kebab and before they brought the meals they even had a little surprise which was so funny (I'll save that for those of you who order it to experience). The food was absolutely delicious, we all had something different and not one of us was disappointed. Most of the group also had dessert and the cheesecake was amazing! Overall the atmosphere and the food is well worth a visit here. If there was one thing I would change, I would have visited on a cooler night, as we visited on a very warm 28°c evening, it was much too hot in the restaurant and so most of the party had to go out and get some fresh air at some point...

Loved this place. Having walked up and down trying to satisfy the kids, I aksed the owner here if he could muster up a pepperoni pizza for my 7 yr old, as she'd been promised one all day. I was even happy for them to go and buy one from the intermarche and cook it, but he said he had one out back that they cook for the staff, so we took our group of 7, and sat down. We had couvert, starters, mains desserts and drinks. Everyone loved their food, and they made a big fuss of my daughter when they brought her the pizza that she'd been promised (it was only half a pizza, because it turns out it was his kid's pizza for when he comes and helps out, and he only has half everytime he has pizza).
