After a day at the beach and then touring around the Old City, had a hankering for a kebab. Looked up close places with a high rating and this place showed up. Just a short walk and I found this place in a great quiet location with trees providing shade.
Went inside and was greeted straight away, this place is very clean. They explained things to me and I placed my order for a chicken doner, chips and a drink.
The pita for the kebab is made fresh in house and was just coming out of the oven. I built my doner with the green chutney and cucumber along with the chicken doner.
Fries were dropped into the fryer fresh, the whole meal was bought out to me as I sat outside, let me just say, this place deserves the high rating they have.
Lots of diners around me were also raving about their food. I heard the falafal sandwich was great also with the garlic white sauce.
If you want a great meal, with quality ingredients, great customer service in a clean dining room or patio, them heade over to Ashoka kebab house.
I will definitely be coming back to try other items while on holiday...

The staff was super friendly and supportive of me taking pictures and encouraged me to post it on Google. To me that shows pride in their establishment. They know they have a good thing and just need to...

From the marbled archway entrance to the plastic foosball table. From the mirrored walls behind the bar to the ice cream machine… this place has been meticulously decorated to emphasize that they care about food more than decor.
Every time you sit in these plastic seats on the sidewalk outside you remember that is why you’re here. And the food. Is excellent. It’s clean. It’s nice. I’m happy. I’ve been multiple times and will return.
I patronize it because I love it. Your regular patronage will help. You won’t be ashoked by the food of ashoka. You’ll...
