Very grateful we found this place through a local’s recommendation that would serve us at 11:30 at night due to our late flight arrival. Staff was incredibly friendly and could speak English to us. Ordered the durum wrap (£6 including fries and drink of choice) and chicken curry (£9 comes with rice, per staff recommendation). Both were not bad at all and quite tasty! Space can be a bit shabby but still moderately clean and welcoming. I recommend this place if you’re staying nearby and need a quick & easy cheap bite (especially is it’s late)! Support a local business!

We found ourselves fairly well on after some time at one of the Mirodouros of Alfama. As we wandered down the hills gazing into all the fine dining and seafood restaurants there was only 1 thing on our minds... kebabs. We arrived just as they were about to close but they obliged us with 2 kebabs, no doubt the beer goggles were on but this was an absolute winner. If they hadn't turned off the doner spit while we were there I'd almost certainly have gone for round 2 immediately after

Reasons not to choose this place. ( I ordered a Durum)

Housefly everywhere -- okay, not everywhere but there were a good amount, they seemed like they had themselves a home. Just chilling around.

Poor Hygiene -- This guy was cleaning his hand in his clothes( cooking robe I think it's called ) don't know when he washed that clothe. Didn't seem clean I can tell you.

Denied me of tissue paper. -- I was given one paper to start with and then I asked more he gives me one more. I wanted like 3-4, like who cares about tissue paper. This guy said no and he started to explain why I only get two paper and no more.

Asked me to pay right after I ordered ( before they started making the food / before I got a good glimpse of the restaurant )

Seems like they're running one time customer deal, if they come once that's good - never again no problem.

Would never recommend this place to my friends or...

Scam restaurant. ( Filled with fake reviews in Google. )

They say Turkish restaurant, that's what really got me to try this place. It's not Turkish, don't go there, some Bengali people making food Benagli style.

There were houseflies everywhere _ it looked so filthy. I had my half pants, they would be on my leg I had to clear them out like I am around a slum area and not inside a restaurant which had many good reviews.

Weird smell in the restaurant. I don't think they prioritize hygiene in a way that should be prioritized.

Will never go there again nor ever recommend anyone I know...
