Exceptional Dining Experience!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at André, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Owned by a charming French couple, this restaurant offers a perfect blend of exquisite cuisine, stunning presentation, and a beautifully designed atmosphere.

The highlight of my meal was the Duck Breast with its delectable teriyaki sauce – a dish that truly showcases the culinary expertise here. Another standout was the Asparagus façon "Risotto" with its incredibly truffled butter – simply divine! Every bite was a testament to the high quality and attention to detail in their cooking.

Moreover, the ambiance is both elegant and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a memorable meal. The owners are exceptionally friendly and multilingual, effortlessly switching between French, English, Portuguese, and Spanish, which adds a personal and welcoming touch to the experience.

We were staying in Lisbon for a week and discovered this little French restaurant walking back to out hotel (Jupiter Lisboa). So booked a table online (google maps) and went back for diner. What a great find, the restaurant is run by a young French couple and the menu is basically small plates and you decide what you want. We selected nearly everything and shared the plates as the arrived. The food is divine (try the duck) and I would say this was probably our best meal in Lisbon. The restaurant is tiny and already popular with the locals, so you need to book. They didn’t have Calvados to have with my coffee but did have Chartreuse that blew my socks off! We came across this very charming place for lunch yesterday. What a find! Such a friendly young French husband and wife team. A cosy atmosphere, away from the crowded cafes and had only been open for one month. The food was exceptional. There are a couple of specials on the board (which we chose) and also a menu with sharing plates. I was recommended a very nice Chardonnay to match my sea bass perfectly.
