Terrific burgers for the price 🍔 ✨
I had my eyes on this restaurant since my significant other LOVES The Weeknd and, apparently, the man himself was here last year and vouched for the burger he ate, calling it the best the world. So, why not go check it out?
Now, while I believe The Weeknd's shared a bit of a hyperbolic statement, the summary is that food and service were excellent. Absolutely zero complaints.
✨ Menu ✨ 🔸 Glamorous (12.5€) 🔸 O Tuga (12,5€; New Burger!) 🔸 Extra Mandioquinha Frita com Paprika (3,50€) 🔸 Cerveja (2€) 🔸 Somersby Apple (4€) 🔸 Oreo Red Velvet Cheesecake (5.50€)
My partner had the Glamorous burger, and goodness gracious was it GOOD. The caramelized red onion, together with both ketchup and mustard provided a really gluttonous bite that made you wish it had no end.
Their new "O Tuga" option wasn't terrific by any means (the meat was very tasty) as it was most similar to a Portuguese typical "Bitoque" without the typical sauce. I liked it, but it didn't wow me like my partner's burger.
The "Mandioquinha Frita" was a really nice starter, providing a crunchy, but almost neutral-flavored treat. The alioli sauce it comes with, as well as the paprika dressing, really helps it comes to life.
Nothing to add on the drinks. Business as usual.
The Oreo Red Velvet Cheesecake was ... Interesting. It tasted like red velvet, and it was super, super soft. The texture almost melted in my mouth the moment it made contact but, at the same time, despite a great experience and flavor, it didn't feel like any cheesecake I'd had eaten so far. I enjoyed, but after finishing the dessert I felt confused.
Either way, to wrap this up nicely, The Burger Champ seems to really put the Champ in Burger, earning a 5 star reccomendation from me. I'll...

Burger Champ offers high quality fast food bonanza with a fast, orderly service.
I was served within 10 minutes after arriving on a saturday night.
Obviously had to go for their "Glamorous" burger which was labelled by no other than "The Weeknd" as the "Greatest Burger in the World".
It's practically a perfect burger, tasty, juicy and consistent throughout the whole meal.
It's on the small side but the price isn't too high in comparison with competitor restaurants.
The fries however don't live up to the burger's quality.
Small and thin, average flavour, definitely the weakest link on the plate, which made me immediately regret ordering an extra dose along with the burger.
As for dessert, the chessecake steals the show and is as delicious as it's beautifully crafted.
However, for a 5,5€ price-tag the serving size may leave many costumers dissapointed.
Flavour wise it's excellent and totally worth it.
To wrap it up, Burger Champ is a nice and cozy burger restaurant, located in a nice and quiet neighborhood around Campo Pequeno and it's a staple for...
Read moreAt dinner time, I had a veggie burger that was an absolute masterpiece! The patty was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor. Paired with fresh toppings and a soft, perfectly toasted bun, it was a real treat. The fries were just as good—golden, crispy, and seasoned to perfection.
For dessert, I tried the cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. It was creamy, rich, and had the perfect balance of sweetness, with a buttery crust that added just the right texture.
To top it all off, the service was impressively fast, making the entire experience even better. Delicious food, quick service—definitely a place I’ll be...
