It wasn't my 1st time eating Ukrainian food, which I like and eat quite often, and this place that I visited for the 1st time with 2 friends did not disappoint... we had 2 different starters and appetizers, which came warm and delicious... my food (the chicken Kiev) was delicious (very tender and perfectly salted butter moist on the inside) and the potato purè was solid perfect and not watery mushy... I also ordered sautèd veggies, which were absolutely perfect crunchy and tasty... my friends foods were also beyond perfection... we had an expensive (but worth it!) bottle of Moldavian red wine, which was supersmooth on your mouth and blended really well with our food... I even bought a 2nd bottle to bring home... and the desserts (along with my tall shot of authentic Ukrainian vodka) were delicious (don't miss their fresh Ukrainian cottage cheese with mixed berries - just like a cheesecake)... the restaurant is small but filled up real quick with some Tourists and some Ukrainian families, so make sure you book a table at least a day before you go... and the Staff is supper friendly and professional on spot... It's just garbage. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated. I've never doubted Google Maps' rating system this much before. We arrived at the restaurant early, and throughout our meal, we were the only table there. Despite this, they seemed unwilling to properly prepare the dishes. I won't comment on the homemade bread, as it's my first time trying it, but it was just a lump of flour. But this was just the beginning of a nightmare. The first dish served was asparagus, completely lacking freshness, with an awful texture—tough and almost inedible, akin to chewing on bark. The second dish, lamb stew, had an okay taste initially but wasn't hot enough, and after the second bite, I found it was completely cold inside.
