I was in this restaurant 6 years ago. The food was amazingly good. Price and quality and service was super. I was so looking forward to go here again the next change I got. This was this week. What a disappointment! The restaurant still looks super nice. Waiters are friendly. That's where it stops. Prices have more than doubled compared to 6 years. That I can live with if the quality would be the same and not being misled by the menu. I ordered what I thought it was " Cod baked in the oven with creamed spinach". That's how it's printed on the Menu. I got a dish which indeed came out of the oven. The few pieces of cod and spinach I could find in there was buried in more cream than anything else. Not at all the Dish like it was presented on the menu. It was 27.50 Euro just for that dish, which was not even worth 10 Euro. Mostly cream than anything else. No taste. I just din't eat it, just a few bites. Waiter didn't care, just took it away, that's it. My friend ordered the sea bass filet, which still had the fish bones in them. That's not a filet. When the bill came, the way it was charged with the appetizers etc... I felt like that restaurant try to take advantage of tourists or English speaking customers. Maybe they have a menu for Locals and tourist. Or new owners. I travel a lot for work. That feeling of taking advantage off was clearly present on this restaurant. I 100% regret going there and my friend and me went out of our way to go there on my recommendation. Well never again. If you ever in Lisbon, avoid this place. Trust me on this one. Not worth it to spend you money...

Food: The other reviewers who have stated that the food is delicious and those who also stated that their food came out cold, I was a diner who experienced both the highs of Laurentina, as well as the lows of Laurentina. I ordered the soup but unfortunately, it came out cold when I got it so I got it reheated and once it came back warm, it was tasty but it still was a bit frustrating. The Bacalhau though was the one thing that saved the meal as it was good.

Service: Honestly, I'm quite conflicted. I think there's a disconnect between the service staff and the cooking staff somewhere as I not only had my order done incorrectly but also I received my soup cold. I think there's some disconnect between the wait staff and the kitchen which has caused this to happen. However, to be fair to the waitress, she was able to fix it twice.

Atmosphere: It looked like a nice restaurant that catered to all ages, groups and demographics.

I probably would not come here again, but I do think that it does have some saving grades contrary to the...

Laurentina is a beautiful restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is inviting and well-suited for a pleasant meal. The staff, notably the waiters, are exceptionally kind and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. As expected, many dishes prominently feature Bacalhau, showcasing the restaurant’s expertise with this ingredient. The Pastéis de Bacalhau stand out, impressively fresh and flavorful, setting a high standard for the meal. The main course continues this trend, offering a tasteful and generous portion that leaves a lasting impression. To conclude, the dessert – a Chocolate Cake paired with Strawberry ice cream – is an outstanding finale. The rich chocolate and refreshing ice cream complement each other perfectly, leaving diners thoroughly satisfied. Laurentina successfully combines a warm atmosphere, excellent service, and superb cuisine, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a refined dining experience centered around Bacalhau. The price perfectly reflects the quality of the food and...

DISCLAIMER: we ate outside by our own choice, we went on a friday at lunch time, and we have been several times to this restaurant before 2020. The restaurant was packed by tourists, so we asked if we could be seated outside as there was space abd the weather was fair. No warning from the restaurant, but as soon as we sat down we saw the dirty tables, we thought nothing of it. We cleaned it ourselves, and once we did we understood (as you can see in the photos) there were bugs falling down on the table, dead and alive, and the restaurant had this area open for service, again no warnings. We just wanted to eat so we endured, the food see the photos is bacalhau abras e bacalhau com broa. It is good food but very expensive for what is is, in the past the food was an amazing experience, this time it was average but with premium tourist prices. Maybe we were unlucky, but the restaurant does not seem authentic anymore and just more of a tourist trap, in lisbon you can get better or same cheaper and a more authentic experience.
