Title: A Culinary Oasis in Gulbenkian: Olivia Delights

As I stepped into Olivia, I was immediately charmed by the intimate and cozy atmosphere that enveloped the space.

The service at Olivia was exemplary, reflecting a genuine commitment to ensuring each guest's satisfaction. The attentive and friendly staff members added a personal touch to the experience,

Olivia's menu boasts a delightful variety of egg-based dishes, each meticulously prepared and presented with an artistic flair that delights both the eyes and the palate. The flavors of the cuisine surpassed expectations, delivering on the promise of visually stunning and delicious fare. Additionally, the restaurant's selection of coffee proved to be a perfect complement to the meal, further enhancing the overall dining experience. While it's worth noting that Olivia may experience a more relaxed pace during peak hours, the wait is understandable given the evident care and attention devoted to each dish. In conclusion, Olivia in the Gulbenkian neighborhood of Lisbon is a hidden gem that excels in providing an impeccable service, Whether seeking a delightful brunch or a meal, Olivia stands as a must-visit destination for those who appreciate good food and slow, good service. For some reason from the time you order a second cup of coffee and time it arrives is enormous. I look at the barista who can't deal with making multiple coffees at the same time. Two spouts should produce...

One of the best experiences I’ve had in Lisbon so far.

The service was fantastic.

We ordered the Get Dirty Sandwich, which honours its name perfect and deliciously, the Amália Eggs and the Bagel and Eggs, a simple yet very satisfying choice. We ended with the sweet Cookie Olivia, a combination of fudge dark chocolate with cheese cream and red berries that took our breath away!

All the ingredients were perfectly balanced; the combination of textures, colours and flavours was really interesting.

Portions were very nice, and the timing was perfect.

The ambience was also very on point. Nice music, not too loud. Refreshing and calm, we were able to dinner and work on our laptops afterwards.

And the best part, the prices were absolutely fair and we left the place with a great smile, a happy belly and a feeling of rejoicing that we will never...

UPDATE: WATCH UP AS THEY PUT A 5% SERVICE CHARGE ON WITHOUT GIVING A CHOICE AS THEY USED TO. IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE A CHOICE.

I am a regular customer of Olivia since they opened. I have never had any complaints until today. Our server today was extremely rude citing rules of the company regarding using a chair with a back versus a tiny stool. There were two other tables that were more comfortable but he said they were reserved. We were there for over 90 minutes and one table remained empty the entire time. Why he couldn't seat us on the empty table once the guests didn't show up remains a mystery. He also completely ignored us for the rest of our time there and after about 20 minutes of waiting, we had to get someone else to serve. I feel very sad to report this as Olivia is my favourite cafe in my neighbourhood and I would love to keep...

Good vibe, per friendly but overpriced place with bad cocktails. We were there last Tuesday (19/7/2022). I live in Madrid and there Pisco Sour is king, but here we had 2 and they were below average. I decided to give a second try and asked for a Moscow Mule - bad decision. For starters we asked for a ceviche (very good ceviche, btw), a tuna poke (the tuna was bad, good taste but soft like it was “old”) and I ordered the octopus, that I can say it had good taste. For desert we had the pavlova, which was quite good and on point. Paying 69€ for 3 cocktails, 1 beer, 1 starter, 2 mains and a desert I honestly believe its too way overpriced for the food quality that was presented. Did it once and I don’t feel like going back anytime soon.

The place looked nice, but I didn’t like that I had hostess meet me and I couldn’t just walk in unaccompanied. I asked for pancakes and tea. There was lots of option on menu, but waitress said, that I could only choose between black and hibiscus. Black tea (on foto) wasn’t really what I expected, and it was substituted for camomile teabag (no one mentioned that I had this option), and it was in a small concentration. One bag is supposed to be just for one cup, not for the whole kettle. I was charged full price, although I couldn’t get something as basic as a nice cup of tea. Also, there was no soap in the bathroom, and I went twice. So overall looked nice but I wouldn’t go there again.
