One of the truly authentic portuguese cafe/ restaurantes left in Lisbon. They make their own pasteries, you will find a good variety of traditional portuguese treats, both sweet and savory. Their lunch menu has unique portuguese dishes that, unfortunately, are no longer commonly available in restaurantes, and it's very budget friendly. We know the prices and were charged multiple times that what the sandwiches we ordered would cost at any other local place. When asking if we were charged the tourist price, because that can’t be right, the lady at the register was getting rude, saying that she doesn’t know where we usually go but other places would charge more, which is a total lie....
