Came here for lunch on Easter Sunday with my grandfather who is a local and a regular customer. We were a table of 6. We sat in the outside pergola area. Food was okay , had better fish in Lisbon for sure. Tarte de queijada de Sintra was too sweet. Server lady Maria Rita or something had not a single smile the entire time, she seemed very discontent.
I’m leaving a review predominantly to say that their customer service is rude, aggressive, and offensive in character. There was a large table behind us with about 20 guests who were ordering multiple bottles of wine. Needless to say they became very rowdy and were disturbing the entire outside seating area. As we were leaving, my grandfather mentioned to the waiters (with whom he is acquainted) that it had been very noisy and hard to have a conversation. The waiter deferred us to the head waiter/ owner (?) lady and this person had the worst possible attitude. It seemed like she wanted to start an argument with an old customer in his 90s. Her reply was that “it’s a restaurant, you should expect noise!” Followed by the most aggressive expression like she wanted a huge argument- I was honestly shocked! My grandma just stared at her, I’ve never seen him look that way before. He seemed sad and disappointed. There was no comprehension , no effort at all to show solidarity ! Terrible! A smile and a “yes they were noisy, apologies” would have been enough!!!! The service completely prostituted themselves out for the money this noisy table was bringing in, and had no regard whatsoever for the rest of the room. In my opinion they should politely intervene on behalf of the rest of the room, when a group of 20 adults are shouting their heads off! I came here and read all of these reviews about the noise on the bridge - I can truthfully say I didn’t even notice , so loud was the...

If you love a good view and seafood this is the place for you.
The space| This restaurant is split into four parts, outside open air with a wonderful view over the River Tagus, then before you enter the restaurant there is also an outdoor seating area ( probably where I would sit if the weather was cooler and I still wanted to dine outdoors and see the view ), then you have the inside which is split into 2 downstairs part of the restaurant and upstairs.
I would say that the decoration is like a nice elegant blue beach theme, with a display of some of the best fish and seafood, not to mention that the restaurant is super comfortable and inviting 😍
The staff| Friendly, attentive and helpful. They guided us through the menu and were so polite when we asked any questions 🥰
The food & drinks| I adore seafood and going to a place with such a fresh variety of seafood is always great. We had the seafood rice which was delicious with prawns, mussels and lobster, boiled potatoes, boiled vegetables with salmon and gilt-head bream fish 🐟 🦐🦞
I love doing my videos and writing reviews for places, I find it helpful to recommend you to the best spots and it also allows me to remember how nice the food and experience was 😅😍😋.
Thank you for having me and my friends at your restaurant, we had a lovely day 🥰❤️

Read moreI had chosen 5 Oceanos for my wife's 50th birthday celebration dinner out of a huge choice of restaurants in Lisbon. I had requested a quiet table inside by the window and had advised that this was a 50th birthday dinner but when we arrived we were given a table just inside the gazebo opposite the restaurant and no acknowledgement at all of the occasion. We ordered a plate of sardines (excellent) followed by 2 grilled squid, which arrived cold (including the broccoli and carrots on the side). Not wanting to complain and spoil the mood we just ate them as they were, but this was very poor. The final dish was the seafood rice - more of a seafood soup with rice inside than a proper rice dish such as we experienced in Porto. The mussels were clearly frozen and not fresh, and they did not smell good at all, so we did not eat them. The white wine we had was good.
We declined to have dessert, paid the bill and left. Not a single comment all night regarding my wife's birthday from the inattentive and sour-faced waiting staff - we were not expecting any freebies, but really? Does no one review bookings and make sure that a table is looked after particularly well and the food comes out perfectly? Especially for somewhere that cost 160 euros including tip (and we were asked to provide a tip). This was very disappointing for the occasion and given the competition...
