Good customer service costs nothing unlike this very over priced venue with zero customer service!
Having been begged to come in off the walkway, we were shown to a table. The staff then had a row as one of them had been saving that table for someone else, so we were moved to the other side of the outdoor seating area.
We had walked all the way from the centre of Lisbon along the river edge, so were looking forward to some nice food and drink. We should have read reviews first.
The service was very slow and unfriendly. We ordered various dishes between 7 of us, one being nachos for €7. The way it was described was not how it arrived. Some crisps in a small bowl with a tiny bowl of guacamole on the side. We also had cheesy bacon fries. They were huge, hard bits of dried bacon with even drier cheese, clearly re heated to be served, certainly not fresh.
We were tucked in to a corner and had no one come check on us during the meal.
We were unhappy and wanted to leave, so I asked for the bill, at which point I asked for the nachos to be removed as they had hardly been touched due to being so poor and not as described, during which time a waiter cleared the table, inc the nachos. The very aggressive waiter came back and refused to change the bill as we had eaten everything, Inc the nachos. I explained we had not and to check the plate. He then said we should have complained earlier and I said we had been ignored. He went off and completely ignored us again. I had to go up to the bar to request to pay and was given the original bill. I explained again I wanted the €7 euro nachos removing but they accused us of lying and that we had eaten every plate. I was shocked that we were paying a large amount of money in total and being accused of lying just to get some money off the bill.
He again was very aggressive and stand offish insisting we were lying.
I had no choice but to pay due to his aggressiveness and attitude, even telling me he didn't care.
They clearly only get passing trade due to their location and the fact the other restaurants around will have turned people away who by default will end up here, hungry and...
Read moreWe came here for dinner after our sunset sailboat tour. Major disappointment. My friend and I each got the “codfish and chips” and it was the worst meal we’ve ever received. We are not picky eaters, but this fish was not edible - so tough and bad. It was semi fried and then had sautéed fajita vegetables with olives on top of it in an odd sauce. It also took a really long time for the food to come out. We also got a pitcher of red sangria and we couldn’t even finish our glass. It was like the cheapest bottle of sweet red wine just dumped in with ice, so so so bad. The service was also so horrible. We were intrigued by the live music band that they had on stage initially, but was a horrible mistake. After they sang a few songs they came around and asked for tips and were pretty rude about it. 0/10. Do not come here!!! The only good thing going for them is the location. Save your...
Read moreWe decided to stop for lunch at Havana after a bustling search for restaurants along our hop-on-hop-off route. With most places packed and lines forming, Havana caught our eye with its inviting menu. Despite the crowd, the attentive staff made sure we felt welcome. I opted for the shrimp with rice and fries, while my partner enjoyed a sandwich. Both dishes were delicious, and we savored our meal while seated in the open-air area with a view of the bridge. A must-try spot if you're...
